Nice pub. Only had a couple of drinks in there today, food looked smelled nice that went pass us. Booked a table for tomorrow as reserved a table at The Royal Oak today.

The food was delicious and we received a warm welcome from the very friendly staff. Service was impeccable and the location was convenient. Overall, a fantastic experience. Service: 5 Location: 5

Lovely food as always. Just disappointed that we had to sit on the high stools when we were last there even though we had booked. Bit difficult for me. There were spare proper seats but was told they were reserved for later in the night. However, people walking in on spec were allowed to sit in those seats. Speisekarte ansehen

This inn is friendly and welcoming. They have decided to allow dogs and even offer a separate menu just for them with appetizers and treats. This allows dog owners to enjoy their meal while their furry friend also gets to enjoy a tasty treat. The rooms were wonderful and had a nice warm shower. The location is great, right in the center and highly recommended.

I had a fantastic evening meal in the bar with very friendly staff and other guests. The showers were amazing and I slept well. In the morning, I enjoyed a full English breakfast, fruit juice, and 2 lattes. I felt rejuvenated and could tell that the staff truly cared about their guests and their surroundings. It was difficult to leave and I would have loved to stay for a few more nights.

Great prices, friendly staff, food was ok but room for improvement. I had the steak and chips. The mushrooms had been cooked in the chip fryer wich was a little disappointing, oh, and no peas or salad served with it. It was literally steak, chips, mushrooms and a half tomato. The steak was fine the chips were piping hot, the tomato was cooked perfectly but the mushrooms let the dish down. Yes I would return and yes, i would eat there again. Speisekarte ansehen

We stayed at a house near the Crown Cushion Inn and had a wonderful experience. The staff at the inn were friendly and helpful, and the food was good. They even went out of their way to return a pack of playing cards that I had left behind. In contrast, I had a less pleasant experience at another pub/guesthouse where I accidentally left my wallet and car key fob and had a difficult time getting them back. The inn is located in the heart of a charming town and is definitely worth a visit.

We thoroughly enjoyed our meal at this restaurant. After recently arriving in the lovely town of Appleby, we decided to stop in for a bite to eat. We spoke to a local builder and his wife who both highly recommended the sirloin steak. When a farmer recommends something, you listen! I'm so happy I ordered it because it was cooked to perfection and incredibly juicy, all for a reasonable price of £15.95. My companion had the roast beef, which was also excellent and came in a generous portion size. We will definitely be returning this week.

decided to eat here tonight, as we had booked for an overnight and a three-course menu in appleby castle, just to say that they don't have a cook right now! very welcome as soon as we went through the door and started with a few very pleasant local animals while we decide what to eat. fortunately ordered only one main meal, the lammhenry, which was a very generous part of lamb, kartoffelmaic, carrots, carrots and engraving was washed by a Chilean shiraz. I would not hesitate to return to this pub if we were in the opposite again as the personal, and local customers where so friendly and the eating and service was excellent Speisekarte ansehen
