"The atmosphere was pleasant and the staff were friendly, but they were a bit slow to check on our table for drink or dessert orders. The food was good, but the beef in the pie was fatty and chewy. When we mentioned this to the staff, they said there had been multiple complaints about it that day. The kitchen closed at 8 pm, which seemed early considering we were initially told closing times ranged from 9.30 to 11 pm over the phone. Despite these issues, overall it was a nice place to eat and we would consider returning if in the area again."

Great food and service, lovely spot, and genuinely wonderful and accommodating staff! We had to be a bit fussy about where we could sit with our dog but nothing was too much trouble. The Royal Oak honestly made our week!

My fiancé and I ate here on a Saturday night with our 9 month old puppy Archie, we were given a nice table in the lounge area, the staff were lovely, and gave Archie loads of attention, the food and service were excellent. We will definitely be back when we are next in the area Speisekarte ansehen

Sunday evening and a lot of vegetarian menu items were gone after a busy lunchtime, but we cobbled a meal together which was delicious. Very well kept local beer and very lovely staff made for a cracking evening by the fire. Definitely recommend this to while away a wet February evening.

This pub is absolutely stunning for a family meal with our dog. The service is fantastic, the atmosphere is lovely, and the food is amazing! The menu changes often, which was great because we dined here twice during our vacation and got to try new dishes each time. The dog menu is fantastic, our furry friend was thrilled to be included. The atmosphere is cozy with the fire, and the place is very clean. Overall, it's a wonderful spot to enjoy a meal or drinks.
