"We recently booked a table for 8 for Saturday lunch. We were travelling from various parts of the country for a family meetup and The Crown Inn was the halfway point. None of us had been before and we were pleasantly surprised. It is a lovely rural location not far from the A1 and we were made very welcome with our table all ready when we arrived. The staff were very friendly and efficient and the service was quick. The menu was varied at very reasonable prices and when it was brought to us it had that Wow factor. All the dishes were beautifully presented and tasted delicious. Good helpings too!!!! I really can recommend this hospitality venue and we shall certainly use it again for our next family gathering."

Birthday meal for 16 people. Had the Sunday lunch carvery. A lovely meal with plenty of choice. All veg freshly cooked and tasty roast meats. Would definitely recommend!

Had passed it but never been. Went for a wake and the food they put on was excellent. Several people said they went regularly and recommended the steak. Will give it a go soon

brilliant food all tasty went for the carvery today had chocolate fudge cake and ice for after 2 half orange juice tasted beautiful meat soft massive yorkshire puddings and real veg beautiful coming back

I recently had a fantastic lunch here in the afternoon. The food was delicious and well-prepared. I would highly recommend both the food and the pub itself. The waitstaff were exceptional in serving our group of six ladies. Thank you!

excellent food and service. a table for two last minute booked, but the krone could record us as it was only 6 o'clock. we had both the homemade steak pea (with chips and muddy peas). very generous portions. we will certainly go back as there are many other dishes on the map to choose! highly recommended.

we have just returned from a lush meal at the crown. the menu is interesting and varied. there are many traditional pub favorites but are not deceived! they are prepared by a first guess chef who introduces a fine dining room. my medium-sized sirloin was perfection and my wife was thrilled with her salmon steak. in addition, the service is impeccable I can not recommend too much.
