I had a fantastic dinner at this restaurant. The tapas small plates were delicious and had me feeling very full. I will definitely be returning.

One of my fave places in Southsea. Food is always great, the vibe is always fun, the staff are always on it even when it’s super busy and they’re always friendly. Never have any complaints the food is always 10/10

We only came in for a coffee as we were killing time. However front of house Zeph made us feel so welcome we soon had 2 drinks and some nibbles. Would have gone for the £12.95 steak weds special if dinner wasn’t already waiting at home. Pint of Shant got to be tried. 10/10 Speisekarte ansehen

We were looking for somewhere for lunch, and found Croxtons. Best find ever, especially as they had a lunchtime deal! Lovely burgers and fries, and my husband enjoyed his German Beer too Plus the Service was very welcome and attentive too. We will definitely be coming back!

Visited croxtons for the new wine opening night. 3 course meal was delicious, the whole set menu was well thought out and executed well. Food is excellent along with the service, what more could you want! I have also been for a roast dinner before which I highly recommend! See you again soon Croxtons!

Fantastic work Christmas lunch. Staff were very attentive. My starter was delicious, Brussels sprout and Shallot tart taking with whipped goats cheese. I had the baked cauliflower main. Everyone's meal looked delicious, and came out piping hot. Plenty of bowls of fresh veg and crispy roast potatos. Imaginative menu. Highly recommended. Speisekarte ansehen

I recently had a Christmas Menu lunch at Croxtons and the food was fantastic. The gherkin ketchup with the ham hock terrine starter was a delicious way to begin the meal. The generous portion of slow roasted turkey ballotine with crispy roasties for the main course was excellent, and the cherry blondie for dessert was a perfect ending. The food was cooked to perfection and the service was top-notch. I highly recommend visiting Croxtons for a festive meal.

Came here for a work Christmas lunch. The menu choices were varied and imaginative, and the food was amazing. We were a large party and all the food came out together, and was hot (something not all restaurants get right . I had the roasted celeriac and parsnip soup followed by baked cauliflower and both were delicious (but rather large portions! . Unfortunately I am not local to the area otherwise this would be my go to restaurant for all occasions. Thank you to all the staff for making it a great day.

I was disappointed to find out that the midweek burger deal did not include fries with the second burger - they had to be ordered separately for an extra charge. This information was not mentioned on the menu or the website, and I felt deceived when I received the bill. As a result, I chose not to leave a tip. I felt bad for the staff, but I was upset with the owners for prioritizing profit over customer satisfaction. It's important not to mislead customers, as it can result in lost goodwill over a small additional cost. I would have been more inclined to tip if this had been communicated clearly.
