When I suggested to the employee that they should update their website to reflect accurate hours, their response was rather unhelpful: 'Our schedule is on the door. ' While this may be practical for locals, it 's hardly a useful solution for travelers or those not residing in the area who rely on online information. This experience left me frustrated and inconvenienced, as it disrupted my plans. I strongly recommend that they rectify this issue promptly to avoid similar disappointments for future patrons."

"Driftwood Cafe Bistro overlooking the pond in Agnew Park, Stranraer alongside the Marina came highly recommended. It's a very attractive spot with plenty of free parking nearby. Four of us had a lunch which was freshly prepared, nicely presented, tasted great, and was served with a smile. I'll add photos. I had no room for dessert which looked excellent, but we all agreed a return visit was a must. The owner gave us a warm welcome and was an absolute gem, much like the cafe. Highly recommended 5 eaterie. Tip: There's a children's play park alongside the cafe and a miniature railway, both of which seemed to be undergoing renovation ahead of the summer holidays."

"I have dined at this restaurant numerous times and have never been let down. Recently, I decided to order takeout and have it delivered to a village 8 miles away. Unfortunately, after waiting 90 minutes, the food still hadn't arrived so I decided to cancel the order. The staff were quick to respond and offered to reimburse me. Although they requested my bank details, I was hesitant to provide them. Instead, they went above and beyond by having a delivery driver drop off the cash when passing through. It's rare to see a business go to such lengths to rectify a mistake. I applaud their efforts and will definitely be returning in the future!"

"Well first visit as was looking for a fish and chip shop and not many to choose from in Stranraer. Sunday night couldn’t be bothered cooking so was going to town to sit in but thought aha.. let’s go take away. Fish on the board said breaded but it was no longer available . the girl did say behind the counter that it hasn’t been taken off yet and it’s on the menu too .So as we had parked nearby I chose the Hawaiian pizza 10inch and side order of chips and hubby had the sausage and chips . Understandably this place caters more for kebabs and pakoras and pizzas, wraps and burgers . Very good price for what we had £11.00 but the quality of the food ..mmm? Wouldn’t say I wouldn’t try it again but would have to be maybe the pakoras or wraps or burgers. The pizza was tasty although a little well fired underneath (not burnt). Chips were dry and tired and didn’t seem fresh although we did have to wait around 20mins? Sausage was battered but it was soggy and the chips also needed some sleep as they were tired too. Give this place its due it seems busy enough with locals and everyone knows everyone else . Phone was ringing off the hook as orders taken every couple of minutes for delivery or pre order pick up. Maybe we picked a bad night but who knows try yourself and please review and see if you have a difference experience ."
