Dalshannon Farm Indian

Bery disappointed with the portion of chicken pakora. Looked liked all the pieces not good enough to serve in the restaurant. Won’t be back in a hurry!!

We ordered a takeaway from Dalshannon farm. It was very expensive and absolutely tasteless. We will not be ordering again. Out of four curry's ordered only one was eaten. So much went in the bin.

Back again. Best Indian in the UK. I LOVE INDIAN FOOD And yet again it was superb Popadoms, so fresh with tasty onions Chicken Chaat Lamb Desi South Indian Garlic chilli chicken Chips Nan, so fluffy puffy and crisp. AMAZING Until next time. Speisekarte ansehen

Me and my boyfriend have come twice within the last 6 weeks and have decided to make it a regular occurrence. By far the best Indian restaurant I’ve visited and I’m a massive Indian food lover! Even the spiced onions are the best I’ve ever tasted. A fantastic restaurant £30 for a meal for 2 we got 3 soft drinks, veg pakora, poppadoms and spiced onions, curry, naan and rice. Can’t beat it!

Having read some recent reviews I was a wee bit concerned that the quality had slipped since my last visit a few years ago. However I had nothing to worry about. I had booked for dinner but circumstances forced a change to takeaway. The food was as good as I remember, portion sizes perfect, delivery time wasn't too long. My partner has never had a meal from Dalshannon and he was delighted at the quality, taste and service. It's tough in hospitality right now. Be kind!!

Christmas Day…… i really wanted to love this as enjoy going to the Dalshannon farm however our Christmas Day experience was incredibly underwhelming, absolutely nothing festive about the experience, no decorations ,no music , no welcome drink , no atmosphere, staff looked like they would rather have been somewhere else, slow service , unbelievably had to pay for rice, naan etc , sorry to say it felt like i was popping in for a cheap curry after a night on the beers . Probably the worst experience at this restaurant, all the more disappointing as it was a REALLY!! expensive cheap cold curry , will not be going back and would never recommend to anyone Speisekarte ansehen

Thanks to the team at the Dalshannon Farm for another lovely night with Brilliant Food. Four of us went for a great meal. Warm welcome from all the team when we walked in. Very well taken care off until we left. I love great service. We started with the mixed sharing platter and poppadom with onions and delicious selection of India dips. Great for the four of us. Main was three tandoori sizzlers Chicken,Lamb and King Prawn. Great sauces, salad and rice served with it. Also had South Indian garlic chilli chicken. So lovely. Visited tonight with 2 of our grandkids.We 've eaten here on numerous occasions but hadn 't been since we got a poor takeaway about a year or so ago. Anyway,sat down at the table for 4(holes in table cloth),asked for the wine list...Don 't have one, you basically guess what you want,and don 't know how much it costs.? ODD!! Ordered poppadums,spiced onions,Pakora and main meals for 4.Poppadums came with spiced onions followed 10 minutes later by pakora and kids meals(we were still eating the poppadums)?..10 minutes later our main meals came.Food was 'O.K ' but nothing startling.One of the kids had a sweet which was nice,asked for the bill and when that came it was impossible to decipher... Dalshanan Farm was the next on the list of “Scottish Curry Award winners”. I’ve been looking forward to this for a few weeks since visiting two other winners (Edinburgh). We drove 80 miles each way for what we expected to be a great curry. Unfortunately the experience didn’t live up to the expectation. We ordered a mixed platter to start which was just a plate of deep fried things! Over cooked (especially the samosa) , dry and pretty bad. A shame considering the reputation. My curry was bland, under seasoned and zero spice. I did raise this and the fantastic waiter (I suspect owner) changed it for another dish that apparently had more flavour.
