Don't miss this cozy seaside spot. It can be reached by (taxi boat, or a long path down the hill.... Try their fresh fish from the Napels. Grand mom is still in the kitchen watching every dish that comes out. Honest Italian food!

We have stopped there on a boat trip. We were helped to dock the boat by the brothers who own the restaurant (which is actually an open terrace and after that we were served simple and delicious food! We loved our experience here and enjoyed every bite of our meal and the friendliness of this beautiful people! Thank you! See you next time we are in Ischia :

Only accessible by sea, fortunately we were staying at the hotel next door hotel da Maria and visited for a lunch time, the food was excellent and I was salivating when my spaghetti con le cozze arrived. Service superb with fantastic views. What a way to spend a lunch time. We have a few more days remaining of our holiday and will definitely be visiting again. Speisekarte ansehen

We called their boat initially for a delivery on our rented boat then decided to go to the restaurant… what a surprise! A family run business since 35 years with the Italian mother, 83 years old, as chef . We were welcomed, friendly service and the plates so delicious with good portions at reasonable prices comparing to the offer at the island. Try it you won’ t be disappointed. I think you can reach them even without boat.

characteristic restaurant to which you can only reach by boat. If you are on foot on the mainland, just call the restaurant and you will come to take nearby the hotel the nymphs that can also be reached by bus. very abundant portions and very fresh fish. an eye not to trust google maps as with the proposed walk you come in private property from which you can not pass. I repeat, you reach the hotel the nymphs and from there you will come to pick up. experience to do, you eat very well!

Lovely family. Lovely food.all very perfect in this restaurant. In this restaurant it's the true and simple food. The very ischitan food.the nice white wine.the fish it's very fantastic. I like so much pasta with the rabbit sauce.simple family but with the big heart and so much respect for customers. Nice panorama in the sea the cartaromana. I love this place from my heart. We are English could not have been looked after better. This restaurant is what Italy is all about. Run by a family with Mamma cooking the most delicious food. we did a couple of visits here and realised no need to look at the menu, but be guided by the recommendation of the owner. Bruschetta, the best I have ever had, Anchovies marinated in oil, Bucatini with Rabbit sauce....just divine. A reason to return to Ischia for a 9th time!.....You do wait a bit at any restaurant in Italy as they do not rush meals like we tend to do in England, so enjoy the view the conversation and the food will arrive

Very sad to say we were treated very badly when we tried to eat at this place. We’re staying at the hotel next door and fancied something different. We thought this restaurant looked lovely. On walking into the restaurant we were shown a table (which had not been cleaned from the previous diners) at the back of the room. There were lots of other tables free and no “reservato” signs on any of them. We sat, and waited, and waited.... Twice we asked for the menu, we were ignored by a waiter and who I assume is the manager. We sat for 25 minutes before we left. How rude! I can only think they wanted us to leave.

we arrived almost by chance, after walking up and down from the hinterland to the beach of Cartaromana. It is a special building, on a small pier with the bark dock, with a wonderful view of the Aragonese castle and the open sea. . .We thought of taking a sandwich and a drink, instead we sat, attracted by a group of tourists who ate cheerfully, and we ordered some beautiful bruschettes with the tomatoes, marinated anchovies and beautiful dishes of spaghetti with seafood and two dried garlic oil capers olives chili flavors various). ..abundant, perfumed, to lick the mustache.
