We got the water taxi to the restaurant the food was amazing and the staff were so attentive. It is recommended to book and we were able to use the beach club after to relax. The dishes were some of the best in Ischia. Perfect...for a chilled afternoon

The best seafood pasta I think I’ve ever had. Service was welcoming, gentle yet very attentive. The ingredients are quality, you can tell the spaghetti was fresh (even the bread, which I usually avoid) and the setting is second to none. Got to use the...beach club below for the whole day. It was paradise. I will return.

Great restaurant with impeccable service. Accessible from the beach of Ischia with boat service for romantic evening with passage under the Aragonese castle. Quiet and very romantic location overlooking the cliffs and the Aragonese castle. Quality of the dishes very good the raw sea, wine excellent wine wine with wines also local.

we were at mauro for 4 nights and had lunch in the restaurant every day. eating was spectacular, the seafood was fresh and tasty and cheap. the beach club was amazing, many sunbeds and first class service of mauro and. his team drinks delivered to her sunbed etc. an amazing place to relax surrounded by beautiful landscape and great eating! we look forward to our next stay, thank you mauro!

It is a magical place, fortunately still little beaten perhaps because Cartaromana is difficult to reach and the Gardenia in particular because of a heavy staircase; but you can also go by sea. The location is unique because it is in front of the Scogli di Sant’Anna and with the Aragonese Castle in the background. I ate meatballs of appetizer aubergines and one of their specialties as first: Pecorino and lemon pastries. Extraordinary

I was a little uncertain what to expect that this place is a beach club during the day, however, in the night it turns into a fine restaurant with the most incredible view. make sure they arrive before sunset so that they can see the amazing...Overviews about the castle and in the far capri, sorrento and vesuvius. the service was top notch, we had a fantastic wine recommended by the staff, and the eating was great. Nice that we went and would highly recommend.

Typically we try new restaurants every day when we are on vacation, but the combination of a beautiful resort with good access to the sea, amazingly good food and a diverse and well selected wine menu brought us back for three lunches...and an evening meal. And then we forget to mention the beautiful view of the tables on the castello in ischia. only a little more expensive than some of the other restaurants in the environment, but highly recommended considering the quality of eating and wine, service and postcard beautifully and therefore very worth.

We return every year in September, and every year mauro and silvano surprise us and pamper us more and more. this time the novelty is the renovation of the restaurant, which favored the kitchen, now wider and functional. already before the level was high (always with a very competitive price quality ratio now I can't wait for dinner next year, with the brigade at the most. but also in these two weeks of total relaxation and shawls in the gardenia, there are always delights: the meatballs, fried anchovies, the breasts in guazzetto and the always gooseneck in the salt. and peace, sight and sea of paprika are the best of ischia

we came for a lunch and afternoon on the chairs. the lunch was delicious aubergine speciality starter and calamari, which were exquisite, followed by fish of the day and a pasta dish that were delicious. wein and service were also excellent. Attention...the detail on this place is great and they really go beyond and beyond so that everything is perfect. that is amazing, with a view of the castle and the atmosphere is very relaxed. the sunbeds on the afternoon were also great and a reasonable price compared to others on the island. We would like to come back if more time. that was the best restaurant of everything we visited on island ischia. they will not regret going here!
