"I wanted to eat in this terrible snow today. warm greeting as soon as they go in. beautiful open fire .very clean and welcoming place. a nice helpful man behind the bar meant his name was off. beautiful clean toilets . that is also important. eating was super. I had the haystack .best pulled pork I've ever smashed..hubby had cockerbsen and sweet kartoffel curry and it was beautiful. he loved it .puddings were beautiful I had caramel apples and custard..big young nabeby had bananen and custard .i cook for a living, so I am picky and would really recommend them to try this place. beautiful land pub....go try it they will not be disappointed x"

been today with our u3a walk club, most impressed by the salatbar i had with my wonderful fish, and the teig was also delicious, best lunchtime I had and so good worth. owner really beautiful and well done.
