Visited a couple of times in the last few weeks and the food amazing! Great offering on the menu and staff were extremely friendly. Keep up the good work!

Came for a quick meal before listening to the Birmingham Symphonia concert at Shirley Methodist Church. Made to feel very welcome. Bar staff are delightful. A customer leaving as we entered offered fulsome praise of the food. Two steaks were well prepared. The buttermilk fried chicken was absolutely delicious. Thank you for your impeccable hospitality.

Remembering last year when we came here I asked to make sure the plates were hot what the breakfast was coming on , yes the plate was hot with cold mushrooms, beans and tomato, hash browns nice and hot sausage was just about warm toast had gone soft with egg on top of it reminded me why I haven’t been in since last year breakfast was cold then as well I really don’t understand how you can wait 20 minutes for a breakfast and it’s not even hot. I had high expectations for a great breakfast at this restaurant for my birthday with my family, but I was disappointed by the results. The menu seemed promising, offering plenty of choices. I ordered the avocado smash with a poached egg, but what I received was a piece of white bread with avocado, onions, chunks of tomato, and an egg. It tasted terrible and the presentation was lacking. Today I went to this restaurant for breakfast with my children and granddaughter. The food was good and the service was quick and easy to order using the website. I also left a tip when ordering online and it was delivered to our table. I ordered the stack of 3 pancakes with berries and mascarpone cheese. However, the mascarpone cheese seemed to be spoiled as it had a sour smell and taste. I informed a male staff member about it, but he just apologized and did not offer any solution. Me and my friends have been coming to Desco lounge for a while now but I can truthfully say this will be the last time that we visit. We ordered 2 lounge breakfast, whilst the drinks arrived promptly we had to wait a fair while for our food. When it arrived the bacon was burnt and the beans were cold. I went to the bar to speak to one of the servers as none had bothered to come and check back our food and were clearly far too busy on a Monday afternoon to accommodate us. The portion size difference was crazy aswell considering we had the same meal!
