I was in this restaurant last night. great welcome. the owners wonderful people who immediately put you at ease but who still retain great professionalism. really excellent quality food. we took the fish of the day composed of tuna and curdle, very fresh and very good. the same as the triads. dulcis at the bottom of the dessert. a cream tart and a delicious ice cream. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in Mexican to taste the first. really recommended.

the name is a confirmation: Just entering the restaurant you feel right at home. care of details make this place very welcoming. The dishes are well served (although sometimes gourmet portions and less homemade) good raw materials but I had higher expectations. for this account seemed a little salty: 37€ per person for shared appetizer, a unique dish, and a shared dessert, wine, water and coffee. I highly recommend the dish “Contamination”. Awesome note: waiting!

Based on good reviews, we decided to make a reservation for lunch while on a cruise stop in Messina. We were really happy with our choice! Our server and the owner were both lovely and attentive and very passionate about their food. We ordered Zucchini flower pesto, octopus Ragu, black pasta with red shrimp, and more. Everyone enjoyed their meal and we all felt very welcome and well taken care of. Desserts were delicious too!! Definitely try the pistachio gelato with the almond cookie, almost like a cross between almond brittle and a cookie, so yum!!!

No way this can be classified as fine eats. It is simply terrible, a limited menu which the owner explains with much pomp. When I asked about a dish he replied that it was made 'like my grandmother used to make it ' but his grandmother must have been a poor cook because the spezzatino was just lumps of boiled meat, Besides in a restaurant with these prices one should expect chef and not grandmother dishes. There were six of us and all the dishes were of similar very low standard. Service was slow, the restaurant was full and there was only one waiter, who tried to do his best. I happened to be on google when I found this gem, they had amazing reviews but weren't open for another hour. Because of the great reviews we waited. WORTH THE WAIT! The restaurant is family ran and family owned. We were the only American's in there, multiple Italians in there, that's how you know the food is to die for. Well the food was delish!!! There is something for everyone on the menu and you are getting true Sicilian cuisine. Their menu does change with the seasons.
