Excellent service and made a real effort for a birthday. The food was nice and the staff was helpful and accommodating. Overall a very nice experience and would recommend for a special occasion for two

The service, attention to detail, and atmosphere were exceptional. The selection of cakes and the incredibly fresh scones were top-notch. However, the sandwiches were a letdown, as some of them had dried edges.

The service was excellent and they really went above and beyond to make it a special birthday celebration. The food was delicious and the staff were attentive and accommodating. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and I would highly recommend it for a romantic occasion for two.

we had two dinner times in restaurant the quills, both very generous in proportions and good value for money. both were fish dishes, grilled turbot, where the only little point to say was the broccoli was almost raw, very hard and crispy, but I would order this dish again and in the second night fresh haddock, chips and exiled, which was perfect. batter on the fish very crunchy and three times boiled chips the best.

Unfortunately, I was very disappointed with this visit. We sat in the lobby (where the tables are, it seems...odd). Our afternoon tea came out, and the sandwiches were well served all morning on the side. The bread was extremely crusty and stoney. The cakes were all prepacked and not very nice. No one mentioned it at the time we were there celebrating a friend and didn't want to ruin anything, but we all agreed at the end how bad the food was! The staff was nice.

My friends and I booked a reservation for afternoon tea for 3 at the DoubleTree by Hilton in Stratford upon Avon. However, when we arrived, we were served an afternoon tea for only 2 people, with not enough cakes and sandwiches for all of us. After speaking with the staff, they brought us some additional cakes and sandwiches. The menu stated that we would be served scones, macaroons, and madeleines for dessert, but we were instead given crumpets with butter and jam. We were disappointed that our expectations were not met, but despite this, the food was still tasty.

We booked an afternoon tea for 3 in the Double tree Hilton Stafford on Avon. When we sat, we served an afternoon tea for two. There are only enough cakes, sandwiches for 2. When we asked, they said it was for 2 people and then brought us 'extra' cake. We had to ask for some sandwiches, as I said, we would be happy to pay for it. They also brought us sandwiches. On the booking the menu said that there are going to serve Scones (as you do in most afternoon tea) and Macaroons and Madalines as part of the deserts. However, we were served with butter and jam. And no Macaroons or Madalines. We were disappointed as we were expecting Scones and Macaroon and an afternoon tea for 3 and our expectation...
