"The most amazing thing about this restaurant is people are lining up on the street and crowding the entry bar area to try and get a seat. It 's madness. I have no problem paying premium prices for a premium experience but this supplied far less than that. The restaurant space is crowded with tables close together. An estate agent would call it intimate. it is often a struggle for the waiting staff to negotiate their way through to tables. The bar area can seat just a handful of people which means the front area of the restaurant often gets crowded with women wearing £1,000 dresses crammed together in the hope of getting a seat. The service is great and the food is good. But in life there should always be a correlation between cost and quality. I had sahimi which was about eight thin strips of marinated wafer thin tuna. It was very good. But it cost about £40. For my main I had the lobster spaghetti. Again this was cooked well and it was a decent portion. But again, from memory, this was about £60. I make no criticism of the restaurant for charging such prices. If I ran it, I certainly would. If celebs, football stars and people with more money than sensible judgement are willing to pay over the odds to eat decent food in a restaurant space which lacks any substantial wow factor in terms of architecture, decoration or atmosphere then more fool them. it is, at least relaxed, with people in designer t-shirts as welcome as the better dressed. If there is one thing in its favour, the doorman on my visit was exceptional."
