"staff just did not want to be there. they didn’t know how to work the heaters, couldnt decide where to put the host stand, looked at us funny when we asked a question about the menu. the decorations outdoors were nice but inside was dark and dreary. food was mediocre, the french toast was good but cost around £13, they brought out one small piece of toast. the egg burger was just average, just a brioche bun with scrambled eggs with a few green chillies sprinkled around inside the egg. no garnish, no side, nothing to make it special. absolutely not worth it for the price."

The atmosphere was shabby and unkempt. The food was decent, but the standout was the service: our dishes were promptly served and we received attentive care.

Outside heaters were not working. Website says that you can't book a terrace spot but we ended up having to go there despite booking in advance so be prepared

Cozy interior, with a lit fireplace keeping us warm. Service was really good, all items ordered by our group of 7 was really nicely prepared and presented. Would be very happy to go there again. Speisekarte ansehen

I think the quality of food has gone down. Our beef burger bun was really bad and kept crumbling . Mexican benedict was meh, just adding avocado to a benedict didn’t make it mexican enough. Biggest disappointment was banana ricotta pan cakes, its usually their top dish but this time the pan cakes were dry and thick and there wasn’t enough dulce de lecehe. Not sure if i would be coming back.

Following the social media hype we were disappointed by the exceptionally long wait for our order the delay blamed due to internet issues how does your broadband affect food being cooked. It was approx 1 hr for food which was ordered at a quiet time. I would have hoped for complimentary warm drinks by means of an apology etc but nothing. It was the first time i have declined to pay a service charge, ever!
