Very fresh products, good services and team, we advice this restaurant in san jose. Pay attention, open at 8.00pm and not 7.30 as write on tripadvisor. All menu are very good.

It’s changed hands this year. A group of 7 of us all thought it was awful. We did not understand the menu. The portions were tiny . The waiter was nice but embarrassed by the mess the kitchen was making of our orders. It was also very expensive for what was served. Hope it was just teething trouble.

I've been at this place 4x during my visit to San Jose. Everything I've ordered was amazing. The tuna on stone and the tiramisu are not to be missed! They also offer a great deal for lunch, with main, drink and desert included. For dinner, make sure to book it in advance as they're are usually very busy.

An excellent venue for an easy meal, well presented food, a lot of pasta based dishes, good house wine and friendly service. We return to this restaurant each year and are not disappointed, the venue is on a buzzy street corner and if you have a table on the pavement you become part of the local atmosphere.

Had a fantastic meal in this fantastic restaurant. Waitress Grace gave us a warm welcome and explained the menu . I had the black spaghetti seafood which was delicious and my partner had tuna steak with vegetables and potatoes . A lovely eating experience made even more nicer with Grace . A gem of a restaurant

Thoroughly enjoyed this restaurant we had house salad which was very tasty and refreshing then we had a portion of homemade lasagne excellent and a portion of homemade ravioli with cheese and Pine nut sauce really tasty our only problem portions tooooo large they did offer a takeaway but we were in a hotel Otherwise we would Have taken them up on the Offer as food was excellent. Staff very friendly and very helpful .

The positive aspects are that they are good at meat dishes and the quality is very good. Eating tuna a la piedra is a great experience. It is not really Italian, the recipies are not typical for Italy. We rarely have black ink pasta “carbonara” with seafood and purple sweet potatoes for gnocchi are unheard of. But the quality and execution are good, so skip the pasta dishes and go for the meat and starters. It is terribly expensive for the Spanish average, mind you. Service is nice, quick, a bit crazy, so good fun!

Firstly there is some confusion in the listing of these reviews in that the same restaurant has another set of reviews lower down the ratings. It is the same place but the address is given slightly differently. We decided to go for Italian rather than Spanish as there are so many Italian restaurants in San Jose. Their specialism seems to be stuffed pasta, especially ravioli, and I enjoyed mine with ricotta, spinach and a mushroom sauce (there is a range of sauces as options). The eating area is narrow, along the front, and is right beside the rather noisy open kitchen, which we found a bit too close.
