"sitio muy recomendable con un muy buen valor para el dinero. Usted encontrará un restaurante situado en una de las innumerables y hermosas casas de piedra tan típicas en este valle. Antes de entrar a comer puede probar una cerveza artesanal muy buena que nos dijeron que hacen exclusivamente para ellos. La cerveza en cuestión se llama el restaurante, es decir, la solena. si el tiempo le permite hacerlo en su terraza exterior. tiene varios comedores. Comimos dentro de su planta baja. un lugar bien decorado y con un número adecuado de mesas para sentirse cómodo comiendo. puede optar por dos menús. uno de 15€ y otro de 20€. ambos tienen varias opciones por plato. en nuestro caso elegimos el menú de 20€. donde puedes probar una muy buena fabada con vendaje, servida en tu cacerola. también muy rico y una espectacular crepes de tksangurro, ambos en tamaño con sabor, ensalada de bacalao templado. como los segundos platos, un buen chupito de patata, una sola vaca tudanca, ambos en el punto solicitado, un buen plato de lechazo y un buen plato de magreto de plato. Las salsas le servirán para acompañar los platos en un par de recipientes de arcilla. los postres, aunque no malos, no están lejos de la altura del resto. la transición entre platos es correcta y la amabilidad de todos los camareros es exquisita. Como el único pegamento que tengo que enfatizar que teníamos que estar pendientes de la desagradable compañía de algunas abejas que decidió acompañarnos durante toda la comida. Tampoco podemos disfrutar del café en la terraza por la misma razón."

"I have to say that we are delighted to have spent this weekend in Punvieja. The tranquility that is breathed in this place is indescribable. Together with the food, for us unbeatable from Antonio and María, they make the stay excellent in all aspects. I never thought that a mixed sea and land could be so extremely rich. The deer and wild boar stews are classed with honors, the frogs are second to none and the neck of hake, even if you're not hungry, you'll end up devouring it because it's deadly. Relaxation, tranquility, warmth and good food come together in Punvieja, with the sound of the little birds that peek out of the bedroom window and the incessant and relaxing sound of the river water. the smell of stew from Antonio's kitchen, the breakfasts and the silent forest that sometimes lets out the subtle whisper of the swaying of its trees make this place the perfect place to rest, enjoy and breathe fresh air. Thank you, as always for everything. Parking: There is more than enough parking to park, although on weekends it is usually more crowded at meal times."

The staff was friendly and the food was of good quality, the only drawback was that the dinner menu did not include any fish or any other option that was not meat as the main dish and that for ordering a little tomato on the side they charged us €3 for a plate of very thin slices carpaccio type) that wouldn't even be half a tomato... amazing!!
