"Set in the most uninspiring environment this restaurant shines like a golden beacon! We arrived 30 min walk from the centre and wondered what we had done. Once inside there was a warm welcome and fabulous service. We shared starters and then had mains of mixed fried fish, sea bass and pasta with courgette and seafood. All delicious and well presented. Deserts were delicious and the bill was really reasonable. Definitely a golden discovery!"

Expensive for the location and the food. Ordinary and oily, seafood pasta. Nice polpo all' insalata.

Fresh fish and seafood dishes and warm hospitality in an unassuming atmosphere. Wine list is full of great choices too! Made our reservations at the last minute since we found them close to our hotel and we were so happy we did.

Good, but not great. Definitely not 9/10. The food was good, but not better than very good. Service was better than the food attentive, friendly spoken English, explained dishes and made good suggestions. The location is uncomfortable (on a port/industrial roundabout), but lends to the charm of the restaurant. In this location the restaurant is better than expected via the board. Definitely a 7.0 /10, but not a 9/10.

"Very nice ambience. The restaurant is located in an old construction near Baia's port. You eat in the middle of an old courtyard, feeling like you are back in the 1950s. Very good tableware. A bit less comfortable is the entrance, as the place is right on the street, very busy and dangerous on saturday night. Service is good too, just a bit harrassing with waiters explaining every dish with long descriptions one forgets the second lates they finish. That is part of an atmosphere the owner wants to be classy and elegant. The problem is that food is not at the same level. I mean, it is good and fresh, especially raw fish, but preparations are too standard to justify an averagely high price. In a table of 7, we had cold and hot starters including raw seafood and one main dish (paranza fried fish for some and catch of the day for the others), plus 5 desserts and white wine. I believe 310€ are a bit too much for what we had, not really in terms of quantity, but for the quality of the preparations. One example is the cold starter: a dish composed by 5 different starters to be eaten from left to right, from lighter to stronger taste. You start with one single raw sea truffle, go on with a tuna tartare, one single raw baby red shrimp with burrata, raw calamari slices and finally smoked salmon. Good quality and right taste, but nothing new, no special work from the chef, that's food you can find in every good-standard restaurant in the area of Naples. Same with the fish we had: too simple. In my view, simplicity is a positive value in food, but not for a place that wants to construct its own style on a classy and elaborate (and expensive) cuisine concept. Different situation concerning the desserts which I personally didn't try but left my friends with very good sensations. In conclusion, it's worth a try, can be good for a romantic tête-à-tête or a dinner with friends, but don't expect a special experience."
