Evergreen Chinese Takeaway

I am so pleased to have discovered a great Chinese takeout restaurant in Beeston with high ratings as well. The food and service were both excellent.

I order takeout from this restaurant every week and have never been disappointed. Their hot and sour soup is the best I've ever had, and their chicken satay is amazing.

All the food is incredible, never too greasy, never too dry, chinese perfection. I would recommend them whole heartedlym one thing is they do NOT TAKE CARDS it is cash only. Speisekarte ansehen

We have used Evergreen many times and found them to be great quality, good value and very welcoming. The food is generally ready very quickly if you are happy to collect it rather than have delivery.

First try and food was average. Spring rolls were just full of bean sprouts with very little meat. The rest of the food was rather tasteless. With so many other takeaways to choose from I wouldn't return.

Not many Chinese takeaways open Monday so thought I would give it a try. Beef in peking sauce was like beef stew, thick, grey and not tangy at all. Apart from that every other dish was really nice. So would definitely use again but not order peking. Speisekarte ansehen

We used to go to a Chinese restaurant in the Rylands area, but after it changed ownership and declined in quality, a friend suggested we try Evergreen. I have to say, it's the best Chinese food we've had in a long time. The house special in black bean sauce is delicious, and my wife adores the Cantonese sweet and sour dish. The restaurant is always bustling, so it's best to place your order early. I highly recommend giving Evergreen a try.

I had always get my takeaway from another establishment until they recent closed down. I tried several others but they didn't match the standard of my previous. The Evergreen was recommended to me by a friend. I visited the establishment and the young man behind the counter was extremely helpful enquiring as to what I liked and making some recommendations of his own. I bit the bullet and ordered my normal Beef in Black Pepper Sauce. I ordered by phone and delivery was prompt within the 30 minute window I was given. We’ve been using Evergreen on and off for years, and we think it’s back to its best! We ordered on a Friday night, it even came 10 minutes early. Ordering was easy, they were friendly and clear about prices and delivery times. The crispy duck pancakes were as good as could be. We also ordered a sweet and sour pork which was great, the batter wasn’t glacky, the pork was not gristly or really fatty. Also proper egg fried rice, not steamed rice with some bits of omelette thrown in. At Evergreen it feels like the food has seen a wok and not just been sitting in a giant vat then heated up again.
