Generally great place for brunch! The food is reliably nice. Just a little overpriced and the service tends to be a bit all over the place- multiple people taking orders, mix ups with food, long periods with no one checking etc.

Overpriced items plus the bill comes with service charge. Without drinks almost £20 each for scrambled egg and bacon. 2cm of feta lazily clumped in one place, excess oil all over. About £5 too high to justify returning regularly. Had breakfast for less in Mayfair and Chelsea.

Ordered a chicken Ceaser Salad, didn’t know that the chicken is a fried Schnitzel! Thought a chicken Ceaser SALAD would have grilled chicken rather then Fried schnitzel type chicken strips along with FRIED crutons. VERY disappointing. We have been to Fego a few times now. Staff always friendly and food good quality. But unfortunately the service is letting the place down. We had to ask to get drinks and to order food. But 45 mins to get food was far too long. No sorry there will be a wait nothing. And again having to ask to get more drinks. Other customers were also asking where their orders were. Come on guys sort this out.

Nice restaurant offering South African cuisine. You can have brunch and an all-day breakfast, which is a great feature. We tried the Full South African breakfast, and it was absolutely delicious—definitely the highlight of our visit. However, the service could use some improvement. We were seated quickly by the hostess, but the waitress approached us before we had a chance to look at the menu, making the experience feel a bit rushed. Overall, the service was a bit chaotic, but the quality of the food made up for it.

The Waitresses and staff don’t shower. They come into work unshowered. I don’t like my food handled by unshowered staff members. How do I know? You know a person is umshowered when you look at them. They look stale. They touch their faces. Scratch their faces. Rub all the matter from their eyes. Never wash their hands and serve hot drinks, juices and food. I pin pointed it to the girl and she said oh she washed her hands after rubbing her eyes. But I was seated in front of her and she didn’t. She spied to the rest of beverage makers behind the counter. One by one stared at me, trying to be discreet. And starred at them hard, to make it known I was being gossiped about. That is my go to place... Speisekarte ansehen
