Brilliant lovely place,needs aircon in the rooms,it was to hot,3 fans going in the room pushing the air around, no fresh air to be had,still a great place though... We attended our eldest daughter's and son-in-law's 25th anniversary celebration. Although we didn’t stay overnight, we wished we had because we have a dog and later discovered that the hotel is pet-friendly, which I wasn’t aware of at the time. The party was a success, and everyone seemed to have a fantastic time. A big thank you to all the staff for helping our daughter and son-in-law create wonderful memories together.

A lovely old hotel. Beautiful grounds. Very peaceful and tranquil location. Great value for money. Rooms old fashioned but in keeping with the hotel overall. Rooms clean and tidy. Food was excellent. Small problem with breakfast on our second days stay but sorted out. Evening meals excellent value £20.50 for a 3 course meal with many choices on menu. Fantastic location to take in various walks for the beginner to the expert. Will be visiting again.

My daughter got married on 6th august at Ferrari’s in their beautiful gardens. Anna-Marie was out organiser and ensured that the whole day went smoothly and without being intrusive. The food was amazing, the rooms comfy, the staff were friendly and attentive. I can’t praise this establishment highly enough. If you’re looking for a beautiful setting and top notch service for your wedding, look no further. Highly recommend. Especially if you’re a small wedding party as we were! Fabulous.
