"we were thrilled by this bar restaurant that looked over the sea in ullapool. I tried to start the oysters and they were perfect. I would just go back for it! the desserts were delicious, although at £ 8.00 maybe a little expensive and there was a lot of choice. my friends were happy with their head. a hugging bowl and a hit salmon salad. I chose the makrelensalat, but was disappointed. too many carrots, not enough makrele. although it was delicious enough. at over £30 per person, including drinks, it was a pleasant meal. would recommend."

We enjoyed two meals here the second with lovely local langoustines. But the obvious local problems of lack of staff meant that we only ate in the bar area. Beside the fine local fish the rest of the menu was rather pub grub.

the lookout here is great. the service was excellent. I had fish and chips, my travel partner had the cured lens soup. both were fantastic. we have booked a table when we have booked our room, and do not regret for a second that we ate where we stayed. eating was really good. I really would eat here again. the bierlist was also good!
