"We overall had a good experience with our food at this restaurant. Unfortunately, one of our party members received a cold main course. While the meal was nice, this issue cost them a star as they expected perfection, especially for the average price of £50 per person for a 2-course meal. Parking was very limited, leading us to park on an unlit street with an uneven sidewalk. It's recommended to have a flashlight when visiting, especially for those with elderly guests."

Had an amazing time seeing in the new year with a 5 course meal, band and a dance. The food was delicious and everyone had a terrific time ! The grounds themselves are unique with an impressive drive in.

What a superb dinner. Lots of fresh ingredients. My partner’s soup was the best we ever tried. I had fantastic dressed crab and then we both had fresh and delicious fish dishes for mains. And we couldn’t resist a pudding either lemon posset and sticky toffee pudding both fantastic. Would absolutely recommend and will be returning!

This restaurant is a hidden gem in Carlisle. I have visited twice and each time the food has been amazing. The atmosphere is calm and peaceful, especially if you are seated by the pond. It doesn't feel like you are in Carlisle. They offer fresh seafood and a good selection of drinks. The staff are friendly and provide good service. It can get quite busy, so be sure to make a reservation if you plan on dining in.
