Fjarå Café - Speisekarte

I absolutely loved this charming little spot. The staff moves at a lively pace, but the food, drinks, and views are all outstanding. I highly recommend checking it out!

So far after 3 weeks on Shetland this is by far the best place to eat. Smiling staff, great views and the food is up there as the best I have had so far on the islands... Probably my go to place now and highly recommend...

We thoroughly enjoyed our meal at this restaurant. The fish was incredibly fresh. I had the salmon while my wife opted for the hake, and both dishes were outstanding! To top off our experience, we finished with an Americano and a latte, which were the perfect conclusion to our meal!

The best Cafe Bar in Lerwick Shetland. Definitely worth a visit. The restaurant Cafe bar with a view. The place is always busy, you must book in advance. You can either book online or by telephone. The food is beautifully prepared and presented and the staff are knowledgeable and friendly. The Hake melted in the mouth and the sauce was beautiful and the lamb was exceptional. We finished with the cheeseboard which was generous and well balanced. A fantastic restaurant well worth several visits.

Amazing food and setting! Came here with my family and had a great experience. The food tastes great and there are options to suit most diet types. For instance, the food I ordered was vegan and tasted amazing. With big windows on a great view and a cosy atmosphere, this is the perfect setting for a lunch or dinner. Staff was also very kind. If you plan on going to eat there, I would recommend you make a booking as when I went, the restaurant was very busy. Overall great experience, would recommend and would come again!

Thankfully booked ahead, it was very busy but it has the perfect setting. We were so lucky whilst we were eating to have seen an otter and then a seal in the waters in front of Fjara. Back to the food, considering how busy it was the staff were mostly friendly and helpful. I ate: Starter: Breaded monkfish scampi served with garlic Mayo and a light salad Main: oven baked salmon with an orange and ginger glaze served with seasonal greens, basmati rice and mandarin segments. Dessert: Apple crumble served with Orkney vanilla ice cream The food was tasty, filling and lovely because it was local. My only critique is that it might be slightly too expensive.
