Currently closed due to lockdowns, but we've always enjoyed our meals at Da Steakhouse! Get. The. Lamb.

what a sound! so glad that we stumbled over this restaurant. the food was excellent and the service was excellent. we would not hesitate to return. highly recommended.

visited for a business dinner. a little hidden, but beautiful atmosphere. had scallops to begin that were delicious. the jake was nice, but slightly dry. the staff was friendly and fast. would recommend it and visit again. Speisekarte ansehen

I really enjoyed steakhouse. we had a wonderful meal in a great location. the decor really adds to the ambiente and we just loved the atmosphere. we had the trio of puddings and souffle to begin, and both had the hawn for...the main that was beautiful will come back in any case!

We had dinner here for our last night on Shetland. We had the burger and the salmon. Both were excellent. In terms of value we had so much food for the cost that it was almost silly. Neither one of us could finish everything. Highly...recommend! The wait staff were very friendly and they have a terrific selection of local gin!

Me and my fiancé booked the steakhouse for a valentines meal. After recent bad reviews we were slightly dubious about what to expect but I’m happy to say we had a brilliant dining experience! We had a table booked for food came very...fast and our waiter was very good at keeping our drinks topped up. The food was brilliant we ordered the Valentine’s Day sharing platter and tattie skins for a starter. The range of food available is brilliant and we really couldn’t fault it! Loved the decor in this place. The menu is quite extensive and the staff are friendly. However this quite overpriced for the size portions and quality and presentation of the meals. We ordered the puddings which are a mix of black pudding and two...other selections. It arrived on a massive place with three small pieces of coated puddings and that's it. Looked like they had broken off from a chippy order and chucked on a plate. Wish I took a photo. They were tasty but the prices are extortionate for what you get. A little bit of presentation would have gone a long way.

No joke this was the BEST meal we had our entire trip. I always thought I didn't like lamb turns out I just like Shetland lamb! Hubs had some yummy lamb steak I think I'm pretty sure I had mutton I just know we...were full for days. In the best possible way. We ordered whatever they recommended and were not disappointed. Should of known it would be amazing it's hidden away from the main street so you get a lovely walk after your meal. Staff was friendly and helpful. I think once Up Helly Aa was over locals mellowed a bit. Oh and get the sticky toffee pudding you are welcome. Jan

We had a meal last Friday at the steak house in town, and didn’t have a good experience. I left a detailed review on their Facebook page to warn others about it and it appears it’s gone! Can’t see how that’s fair as it was...a fair warning to anyone going. Makes me wonder how many bad reviews have been removed. Would give a lot fairer outlook and how overpriced and unprofessional they are! This wouldn’t be as bad if it hadn’t cost so much, as I’d happily pay for a brilliant meal, but the fact this is a steak house with high prices, you expect a certain standard.
