"had our wedding here on 10.08.23 and we had the most amazing day. the venue is absolutely beautiful and we had the best beautiful summers day which made it even better. Claire and maisie made everything so stress free for us from beginning to end. we didn't have to do anything at all and any questions I had they got back to us so quickly and were always happy to help. our master of ceremonies on the day was Paul and he was just absolutely amazing, he made sure everything ran smoothly and he was so kind. all the staff at the chase were lovely including Adam the DJ who made sure we all had a great night dancing away, the food was delicious, the rooms were amazing and the venue is just stunning. I could not fault 1 thing here, it was just perfect. would not hesitate to recommend anyone to get married here as there's just no faults whatsoever. everyone at our wedding commented and still talks about how great it was. thank you everyone at the chase for making our day as amazing as it was!!!"

"On our first cruise, we enjoyed fish and chips, which were excellent with generous portion sizes, served with bread and butter and a cup of mushy peas. Having lived in Penkridge, I can confidently say that our favorite fish and chip shop is the one used by Georgie, and you won’t be disappointed! For our second visit, we went for afternoon tea with some colleagues, and it was fantastic. We all sat together at the front of the boat, which was lovely. The tea was constantly replenished, and the sandwiches were delicious. Even those of us who preferred simpler options were satisfied. The homemade cakes were absolutely delightful! The only downside was that I was unable to eat one of the cakes due to a strawberry allergy—I forgot to mention it when booking. I did ask for an alternative, but it was too late as they didn’t have any on board, but that was entirely my fault! Despite the weather not being ideal during both visits, it didn’t take away from the pleasure of the trip. The comfortable setting and stunning views along the canal made up for it. I highly recommend this unique and relaxing experience, and I will definitely be returning. Many thanks to the team!"

"Wanted to go somewhere nice for breakfast where could be better than the Moat House. First checked what time the breakfast service was 9.00am 11.00am so booked for 5 adults 2 children 10.00am. Arrived a little early, as soon as we got there we were asked by the server to order I explained that there was 4 more to come and we would wait until they arrived we were then approached by a male member of staff who said we needed to order as breakfast finished at 10.00am. The rest of the party arrived at 10.07am as soon as they arrived they asked to order (everything so rushed) no flexibility with ordering for the children asked for egg on toast told no it had to be off the menu. As soon as we had finished the table was cleared no time for another tea or coffee. There was no others having breakfast there on this day. On a good note food good bad note service poor."

"Lancaster Gate £5.55 Amstel The Swan Hyde Park, a busy historic pub ready to quench the the thirst of many a Hyde Park visitor. . The Swan was the busiest pub I had visited on my crawl across the North end of Hyde Park, this is probably due to its location and that it also sits on the ever busy Bayswater Road. There has been a pub on this site since 1721 and it is said that this was the last place criminals had their last drink on the way to be hung at the Tyburn Tree just down the road at now Marble Arch. The box seat to get when you visit here is the patio space out the front as this space was the busiest and had a buzzy atmosphere. I was with my sister and my brother in law on this crawl and they remarked that this pub was very much geared up to cater for the many visitors to the area. Inside you can see that a lot of thought has gone in to the presentation of this pub with the various murals, wood panelling and the many pictures across the walls. Overall, this pub felt like a nice environment to spend some your time in. There is a elegant dining room upstairs which leads to a balcony overlooking Hyde Park, this was hired out on the day of visiting. The service was swift enough and we didn’t have to wait long to be served and £5.55 for a pint was average for the area. . The Swan Hyde Park is a decent boozer with some nice features which is set in a great location. . Information correct on visiting 13/11/21"

"We came here for my sons 14th birthday with his friends and family so a large group of us, they seemed quite under staffed and it was busy, we all ordered mains and my chicken seemed pink, when I mentioned it to staff they said it was from the bacon even though I'd cut into several pieces of chicken and stopped eating it, we spent quite a lot of money and my comment was brushed off even though most of my meal was left as was the chicken and bacon in cream sauce, we were also told to vacate the table at 8pm even though we were all still drinking and didn't plan on leaving straight after the meal and the waitress was quite rude and abrupt about it even though the other part of the restaurant was empty, we said we would go again but would book the table for the night and would definitely not have the chicken again,"
