Went there for lunch. Very good food and service. The menu offered a good selection of typical Spanish fare. Accessible from the highway and ample parking.

This is a restaurant behind a gas station! But not what you might expect! Fantastic, authentic Spanish food (attested to by my wife's Spanish family). Definitely worth the stop!! Speisekarte ansehen

Don't judge the book by the cover. The food is excellent and the customer service outstanding. The price is fair for the quality you get and they have some private saloons for meetings with customers or team buildings

food for three, two very rich inlets (alcachokes and chanclas) three main dishes, very rich coconuts in green salsa and merluza with clams and a very tasty sauce; the txipirones in their ink were not at the same level. good price and good service

We were staying at a hotel nearby and the restaurant was at walking distance so we went in there. What a surprise! From the decor to the service and obviously the food, we enjoyed everything. Waiter recommended a red wine from Alicante for 3$ a glass and it was spectacular. I had the gambas à la plancha and we tried several different meal...everything delish! Nestled uncharmingly behind a gas station just off the road from Madrid to the Escorial, the exterior is unassuming. But don’t let the looks fool you; the food is great. The service is efficient and friendly. They start you off with a free sausage hor d’oeuvres. We ordered a cold bottle of white Rueda wine, which paired nicely with the seafood and fish we ordered. For the first course, I had the special of the day, verdinas con codorniz, a type of small, tender bean with quail. Delicious. For the second course, I had chipirones, a small squid, sautéed in a wine sauce with onions. The onions were actually fried to a crisp, separately. The dish was quite good. My daughter got married here last week (complete with registrar) with over 100 guests in attendance. The whole event went exceptionally smoothly. The canapes were delicious and never ending and the four course meal was outstanding, such generous portions. I had Langoustine, Hake, Beef Entrecote (lovely tender steak) and a dessert. Staff were very efficient, food came out promptly and hot, no one kept waiting. Bar was kept busy but no queues for the wide selection of drinks. Thanks to all staff who made the event memorable for all the right reasons, especially to the chef(s). My friend and I were staying at a hotel directly behind this restuarant and having arrived a day before my friend, I went here for a beer (as there is no where particularly close and would require a taxi) and found a seat at the bar. I was given a free snack with my drink which arrived in a chilled glass. The beer was reasonably priced and I was impressed with the options available for a restaurant which was strangely located (behind a petrol station) and had a captive audience where standards could be at risk of slipping.
