As a group of four, we ordered several dishes to share and found them to be delicious, fresh, and reminiscent of home-cooked meals. We thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience and were glad to have chosen this place to celebrate my birthday with my family. The restaurant has a lot to be proud of, setting the standard for quality. It is a rare gem in London as an independent establishment. I particularly enjoyed the Ginger Kiss cocktail."

Very unfortunately, ginger kiss wasn’t open when I turned up for our ‘confirmed’ reservation. Google said it was open, as did the website itself. I got into trouble with my girl friend on her birthday.

Spotted it when searching online for a restaurant close to Clapham Junction which I do not know, and where I was going to meet some friends. Photo online (green plants on the wall) attracted me, as did the food. Which was very delicious, ambience was as nice as I had hoped for, and the service was great. Would definitely go again. The experience was just alright. The main course was tasty, but my chicken and cashew dish was too salty. The menu was limited and the non-alcoholic mojito was terrible. The fishcakes I had as a starter were tough like rubber. It wasn't amazing, but we were able to have a pleasant, unhurried conversation, which was a positive aspect of the meal.

Sadly the chef was not working due to a foot injury on the day of our booking. The service was dreadfully slow and muddled the waitress appeared to be doing everything even helping the stand in chef in the kitchen! The food took forever..... the drinks took forever..... and it wasn’t until we were paying our bill that we were told what the problem was. Communication would have been greAt or at least a complimentary bottle of wine. We did have a birthday cake bought to us so some compensation! Never again !!
