This place is hidden gem! The owner/chef is very personable and speaks great English. The food was delicious and the prices were unbeatable. We will be back!

I stop from gnam gnam every Thursday, and every time it is a pleasure. genuine and abundant food, with fresh fish and cooked in a simple way and according to the Sicilian tradition. with the friendly company of fabio, entertainer n.

A tiny restaurant with a few tables inside and outside in the shadow, a nice host who helps with the selection of dishes who speaks English, friendly service and last but not least delicious fish at very reasonable prices all thumbs up. Only open for lunch unfortunately. ;

This is a great place to have seafood. The owner Fabio makes you feel at home and his food is amazing. The quality of the food you receive for the price cannot be beaten. This was definitely our favorite place to have lunch once we discovered it we kept coming back. Loved it all especially the gamberoni alla griglia and the owner’s wonderful company. This is rather a late review but wanted to put on record what an amazing time we had this restaurant in the Summer. We arrived as a family of 7 and was properly entertained by Fabio the owner chef. We did not order and just allowed Fabio to spoil us his delicious fish platters. Don't come here expecting luxury, fine glasses and cutlery. Come here if you want to leave with a satisfied full stomach and joy in your heart!

Absolutely loved the food, the experience, and spending time with Chef Fabio and his wife. Chef Fabio spoke great English, was absolutely charming, and was awesome with our 9 and 5 year old children, who not only loved the fish and chips he made for them, but now love mussels; at least the ones prepared here. We started with a “combo” platter of sardines, tuna, swordfish, in various sauces, and a fusion tuna curry. All were excellent, as was our plate of mussels and our pasta with fresh seafood. If you’re ever staying in the area, or traveling from Catania to Taormina, stop here for lunch (it’s open from 12-3) and you won’t be disappointed.

This was our last meal in Sicily and it was fantastico! Siciliy was a lovely destination, friendly people and amazing produce but we found eating out to be rather poor. My wife found this place and it was 15 minute drive from the coast into Giarre with the restaurant close to the main square and within 15 seconds of meeting Fabio the owner we thought this would be fun! The passion he had was a joy and we thought lets just go with he flow. We had, marinated anchovies, octopus salad, shellfish soup, linguine con vongole, sea bass and potato, some home made red wine and mint liquor to finish. The food was brilliant.
