Terrible food Never had a worse Chinese meal Will not go back This restaurant is not a credit to Hexham It used to be excellent with previous proprietors and it’s a shame it has changed.

Food was disgusting. Ordered chicken Thai green curry, the sauce was thick and gloopy. It was suppose to be chicken, it could have been next doors cat. The only positives were the staff, they were lovely.

Back again,and once more not disappointed. We had lemon chicken,spicy noodles,fried rice and king prawn szechuan,accompanied by prawn crackers. Very tasty and good sized portions,very fast service. Very attentive staff,and really good value. Speisekarte ansehen

Arrived at 12 for lunchtime 2 course special. Only one other couple in restaurant. Service was by a lone young waiter. Waited ages for the starter (20 mins), and even longer for the main course. Woefully slow service. Food was just average nothing special. Wont be returning again.

the way this takeaway works is simple and very effective. go to Facebook page for the menu, choose their choice and ring after order, pay them via phone or on the collection chosen to the time. is very desirable full taste better still all containers full up to the crispy. is a word of consulting when the sequence of chips allow a section between two. fun.

The worst Chinese meal ever. So disappointed. The last time we visited here, it was good. This time I couldn't eat it, it was such poor quality. The chicken was like sandwich meat slices just heated up in a very salty bad sauce. Do not waste your money here. Had a takeaway tonight, the food was absolutely lovely. However i ordered over the phone and the girl on the phone was so snappy and rude. I questioned the time as i couldn’t hear her and when i did she snapped. When i went in to pick it up the girls were not friendly or hospitable at all. Just a little disappointed in the customer service as i’ve never experienced this with the golden dragon before.

Came for a job celebration and it was an awful experience. It feels like a takeaway with seating and staff are clueless for folk that are dining. Meal was just average, main courses came out at different times, but we had to laugh as no plates came out only saucers to eat off. Only two tables occupied when we were there and they complained loudly too. The most shocking part was I ordered lime and soda so they served my 7up with lime!!! (good job I'm not a diabetic). Please avoid if you want a restaurant experience, it's a takeaway and staff do need lots of training for hospitality. I will also add it was not cheap.

I phoned up to make an order for collection before ordering I asked two questions 1 is the curry Breast or Thigh meat I was told breast this was a lie! the chicken was cheewy and slimy that 's eather thigh or cheap bottom of the barrel breast that 's been steeping in water all day! Proper chicken breast should be fresh chopped chunks firm to the touch but will fall apart when eaten! 2 Is there peas , Carrots or other vegetables in the curry I ask as this is an English thing to thin out the curry with cheap veg over more expensive chicken I was told there was so I asked for this to be removed from both my curries. Yet I still received two curries with Mushrooms now I know this is a Fungi but... Speisekarte ansehen
