The Golden Pot - Speisekarte

It's one of the best places i have ever been and literally so much fun and a cosy atmosphere. The pool table. I love it. Highly preferable.

Sitting here after our meal, thoroughly enjoyed our choices! Lovely atmosphere, excellent seafood etc menu. Really lovely server! I recommend them.

We had heard and read lots of good reviews about this place but have to say we were very disappointed on our visit with the food it was very average nothing special. We shall not be going back. Speisekarte ansehen

I spent the afternoon at my niece's baby shower, absolutely wonderful staff, food was absolutely delicious , definitely will be coming back even though I live in Newbury. Many thanks to the wonderful staff who were so friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them.

What a lovely pub. Good beer, great range of fish based meals (plus meat too if you prefer) and table service as well. All good. Came back in August 2022 for an evening meal with a big group of 20 friends. And still the food was great. Lovely village pub. Still all good

Walked in on a Wednesday, very quite only one other person eating. Got a table and ordered my food at the bar. I had the whole sea bass (from the specials board) and it was okay. Lady behind the bar was pleasant and service was good. Meal (whole sea bass, chips and peas) together with 1 pint of cider was just under £23.

Stopped of here for lunch in transit. What a find Superb food My squid,followed by sea bass outstanding The chips were sensational The salted caramel ice cream finished me off Washed down with white Rioja and limoncello The landlord Steve,a fellow Geordie and I had so much in common Our love of The Toon Similar taste in music Top man Wonderful meal Thank you Steve,Jackie and Abi

Fish and chips in pub is always a lottery, this time I became a millionaire, it was superb. Cooked to perfection, the fish (haddock) was fresh very tasty and it flaked like for fish should, the triple cooked chips were a great match. Add to this Guinness zero for the most delightful meal. The pub had an ambience the landlord was extremely friendly and welcoming, the locals were nice too. I will be back! Speisekarte ansehen
