Green Dragon - Speisekarte

Beautiful pub with amazing service and delicious food. The beer was excellent, and we highly recommend this place. We will definitely be returning!

This was a second visit to the Green Dragon Inn. It was quite busy, but we were seated immediately. We had really attentive service and the food was excellent. Well done to all.

Sunday lunch! had a small wait that was explained by bar staff which were very polite and helpful. And the lunch arrived cold, how is it that it’s cold having waited for half an hour for it to be cooked !! Speisekarte ansehen

Best place I’ve stopped in a long time just got back from a couple of nights in the glamming pod it was lovely the food in the pub was spot on and my dog was treated so well even brought him out a sausage while we ate will definitely be back for another stay

Tommy and Shaz were very warm and accommodating, we had a carvery and it was delicious! We camped for the night and it was very reasonably priced they even gave us 2 fresh eggs for our brekkie! We struggled to book a taxi into town and they very generously gave us a lift. Couldn't recommend this place more. Tranquil surroundings and wonderful hosts!!

Looked for the nearest place to our accommodation and glad we picked here.lovely little homely pub with great decor. We ordered 3 tapas dishes as the kids wanted Macdonald's so I picked tapas for myself. Had belly pork, nachos and cod bites. All lovely, hot , fresh and tasty. My kids ended up eating the nachos which were delicious. The chef gave us some more as we said how lovely they were. Staff super friendly and will definitely come again if we are up this way. CAMPERS BEWARE. Arrived yesterday afternoon after a day on the Offa’s Dyke Path. Pub was closed, I assumed post lunch. Spent an hour in the garden and then a ‘caretaker’ appeared and very curtly told me that I’d have to camp elsewhere, which I then did as it wasn’t opening. I returned the following morning to quietly make myself a coffee at their picnic tables and soon the same man appeared and was abusive and extremely unpleasant (f ing campers). Moreover the camping field is next to a very busy A road down which HGVs thundered through the night. Suggest the site in Welshpool instead. AVOID.

This restaurant is by far the worst place I have ever dined at! We arrived 10 minutes before closing time and were seated at a table for two. The staff and our waitress were very pleasant and accommodating, however, the food quality was extremely disappointing. The garlic mushrooms starter came with stale bread and the chicken wings were just average. The main course was even worse - the burger was inedible, the chips were cold, and the coleslaw was off! It seemed like the Chef had no idea about proper seasoning. A sign that our meal would be bad was when we saw a couple at a nearby table complaining, and the Chef asking them to leave! I have no intention of ever returning to this restaurant...

We arrived at the campground in our motorhome for an overnight stay with electrical hookup. Our pitch was located between a train track and a busy road, but we were not disturbed by noise. Unfortunately, our pitch was too far from the electric point, so we did not have hookup in the evening as all the other pitches were taken. However, we were able to move to a closer pitch in the morning and were allowed to stay longer on site while everything charged up. We decided to have Sunday lunch at the bar and even though it seemed a bit pricey on the menu, the food was worth every penny.
