"probably one of the worst experiences of obnoxic, arrogant and uninterested service I have ever experienced. we arrived with a shuttle boat to find the mission to see the beach and decide whether to stay for a whole day. there was only one other customer. at the place so not occupied, and we approached one of the uninterested employees about the price of sunbeds etc., which gave us to another probably higher (but not less dismissed colleagues who gave us the information hesitantly. we have decided to sit and have a coffee while we saw whether we were to stay and ordered by the aloof young barman (which gave the impression that we were an inconvenience for his obviously very important duty to arrange the mats and stare at the sea from his mirrored sunbeds. After we had decidedly ordered (or so we thought we sat on a table at the side of the bar and waited for another 10 minutes before a much more attentive waitress approached to take our order. we explained that we had already ordered, but obviously forgetting and being fair to her seemed quite irritated that we overlooked and seemed to give the barman a verbal warning. our coffees came and were cold, so we reported the waitress and left without paying. one of the managers followed us and asked what the problem was, and I explained, but from that time on we had thought to go and never go back."

Children can play on the beach while the adults have a few beers. Perfect. The location is fab and the food selection was good.

Great location... shame, that at a beach bar with these prices, the sheer difficulty of obtaining a drink from disinterested and obnoxious staff provided the biggest challenge..

service and eating could be better. I consider the price while we were there, there were guests with dogs, at 4 different tables. we saw two dogs pee in the sand. that is the sand on which we walk barefoot. rather disgusting

we stayed twice in our last one week stay in port grimaud. the beach restaurant has a perfect location on the small beach of port grimaud. next to the beautiful view in the bay of st. tropez the staff is very friendly and professional. and the eating is fresh and tasty. ceviche and fritto misto and the fresh fish was delicious, we will definitely return there. The best food on the beach, far better than Any Pamplepomne restaurant, and I am on the beach, Prices are very similar to club 55, Tropezina, lulo, cap 21 Les Graniers etc..... And you have the most perfect view across the bay to st Tropez....Quality of tables yes could be improved and maybe a little amuse Bouche or tapenade with croutons. Service is good but please be happy and smiley, you have an amazing restaurant and amazing food. See you all next year

this restaurant survives because it is the only restaurant in pitt grimaud on the beach that is open in the evening. the owner of the dame is rude and the staff, save them for a nice girl are all stained with the same brush. eating is very. expensive for what it is and on our last visit together with some friends, the food was overcooked and less than average. Previously it was good, but they have become very good and many people in the opposite say the same thing.

You have to find your way here by boat or be staying in Port Grimaud itself where you can get a free water taxi to the place... It's a fabulous spot for a lazy lunch in the sun but you do pay the price of...course for the location...the fresh pasta dishes with seafood were excellent and the friendly service was very good too...only bottles of wine available and at high prices even for this part of the world so opted for beers instead ! If you have lunch here, you can while away the afternoon using their sun beds for free which is a bonus when you paid nearly 100 pounds for lunch for 2 ! Speisekarte ansehen

Grimaud Beach has many attributes, especially with regard to its location. It’s on a sandy beach with a lovely sea view. It’s fun watching the boats going in and out of the harbour, views of the bay of St Tropez, and the food is excellent....The bar staff with the notable exception of the Patronne (who is exceptionally rude and disagreeable, and should be avoided at all costs) are helpful and friendly. There is access via the ferry, or by dinghy, and also via a buggy from Grimaud 2. You can hire an umbrella and a sunbed via the bar staff, and the water nearest the harbour wall is shallow and suitable for children. I’d highly recommend this place, but do avoid the Patronne! I’d have given it...

"Popped up to this lovely restaurant this week. First things first, if you're going to come in the summer, it's indoors so expect it to be warm and expect to need to book. Also, bring cash. On to the main info. Didier who owns the restaurant is someone my family met when we stumbled on him at a restaurant 15 years ago. Over the years, we have never missed visiting him if we can. The man is worth visiting any restaurant for alone. He is such a character and so charming. Now with his piano in his restaurant, we love to hang around later on in the evening and play/sing a bit of impromtpu jazz too.The setting is cut into the rock and this is exposed in some of the back areas of the restaurant. The walls are beset with lots of colourful and interesting pieces of art that he has gradually accumulated. Expect to be sitting close to fellow guests and on odd chairs with odd patterned china but it's all part of the fun. The food: mum, the pescatarian, loved the aubergine starter and the fish on offer. The lasagne starter was to die for and the chicken so tasty! My bf thought the chorizo on his pizza was incredible. And the lamb gorgeous too. The pain Tchinch was soooo good and a dessert fiend's best friend. A bit like a Belgian waffle. The moelleux au chocolat is always decadent. The food portions are substantial and for the 31 euros for a three course menu (which does not restrict your choices), a bargain! I didn't indulge much this week in wine but I did try Didier's and it was lovely. The upstairs: part of the roof is missing upstairs in the chill out area and it's lovely and cool. Wonderful for relaxing on the sofas/chairs for a complimentary shot of limoncello at the end of the evening.Verdict: this is a lovely hidden gem set in an ancient village with more character than you can find elsewhere in the Côte d'Azur."
