"The hotel is simple but clean, and the staff were wonderful. The highlight of this hotel is the food, which was excellent. We had dinner at the hotel, and the portions were generous and delicious. The place was bustling with locals enjoying their meals, which speaks volumes about the quality of the food. The breakfast was also fantastic. I would definitely recommend this hotel."

Third year in a trot , what more can I say . First class service time after time , make you feel like family. Kay, Steve , Annette make you so welcome , lovely meals clean rooms . Actually booked for two nights then asked for extra night .

I used to stop here regularly in the 90s when I had jobs in Sellafield or Workington. It was a friendly and welcoming place. It was such a great spot that I even based my eldest son's first family holiday here. It's an ideal location for exploring West Cumbria. Speisekarte ansehen

Had a huge meal last night thanks to Christine Andrew, at the Grove Court. Their Sirloin Steaks are to die for along with a wonderful salad. Spoilt my calorie counting though by having a delicious Gingerbread Sparkle Cheese Cake which Steven Benn was trying to claim he made himself. Ha! Ha! Excellent food value for money (even though I wasn't paying last night)

Overall, it was a fantastic experience! The rooms were cozy and spacious, providing a great night's sleep. The charming little bar added to the ambiance, and the breakfast in the morning was excellent (though there was an additional charge). We stayed as a family of three adults and two children, and the staff were very accommodating. We look forward to returning soon!
