Gurkha Express Belper

Ordered from here many times and it's always lovely, is delivered quickly and always nice and hot. I would recommend the chicken tikka masala, cheese chilli naan and gurka chips.

The food was delicious... we ordered vindaloo and rogan josh. The only issue was that the delivery arrived cold because they had mistakenly written the wrong address on the bag, leading it to be delivered to the neighbor's house instead.

Always our go to takeaway in Belper. One curry, rice and naan is normally enough for both of us because the portion sizes are so generous. Never has a bad curry from here and it always arrive in good time. It’s usually 10% off on the website too

I have ordered from here many times the food is always piping hot when I get it delivered and tastes superb! The vegetarian dishes are very tasty and the lamb dishes are so tender. I would definitely recommend and will definitely order from here again.

Very rare we have a takeaway and if we do we are creatures of habit. On this occasion, reluctantly we decided that we would try somewhere new. Pleased we did. We ordered well before opening and the order was taken and promptly delivered with the meal being nice and warm. The meals we chose were not your usual curry and once again a good choice with the meals being so well balanced and so full of fabulous flavours amazing. Don 't miss out.

I cannot praise this restaurant enough - it is the best takeaway in all of Derbyshire. They offer a variety of options for everyone, including Indian and Nepalese cuisine. The bhajis are fantastic and they have a great selection for vegetarians, vegans, and those with gluten allergies. The service is quick - I ordered on a Saturday night and my food was ready in just 20 minutes. The pickled spicy carrots in the pickle tray are amazing - I could eat them every day! Whenever we visit Belper, we always make sure to get food from Gurkha. Keep up the excellent work!

Such a shame as we have ordered here a lot over the last few years. I will never order from here again. The food turned up 45 minutes late and was cold when it arrived. The chips were damp and inedible everything else had to be placed in the mircowave which made it bearable at best. The driver does not understand English or simple directions. He kept telling me he was outside when he was not. Several attempts left me feeling frustrated and hungry and when it did arrive due to a neighbouring house having enough about them to phone us from his phone actually physically directed him to our house.
