"We were told about this restaurant by the couple who were looking after the villa we were renting just outside the town. As we were visiting the supermarket nearby we thought we would take a look. Nothing was open and doors and gates were locked although there was a menu (long) on the fence outside. On checking on the internet we saw it opened at 7:00 pm so thought we would give it a go the next night. At 8:10 when we arrived there were only two other tables occupied. By 9:15 the place was packed enough said. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful and one of the young chefs took time to talk to us about the selection of food available. As one of the chefs had won several awards for his pizzas we decided to give them a go. We were not disappointed. Bases were crisp and toppings were tasty. The wine recommended to go with them (white for my wife and red for me) were excellent and at 3€ a glass very reasonable. A really good meal in pleasant surroundings with staff who cared that you enjoyed yourselves."

"Hidden away down a side street off the small quiet Piazza san Nicola, there are some fairy lights around a doorway, and quirkily strung across the alleyway entwined through some white laundry! This is were the magic begins! Inside you will be met by the magicians themselves and shown to your whiten linen dressed table in the gorgeously styled restaurant. And then there is the food! Delicious, tasty and beautifully presented. We had mussels gratin and octopus to start, followed by slow cooked belly of pork and gorgeous melt in the mouth tuna. If you are visiting the Greci towns of South Puglia, you should definitely come to Corigliano d’Otranto for the great castel and dinner here."

"Posto meraviglioso ,atmosfera stupenda..La pizza anche buonissima ,soprattutto attenti all'esigenza del cliente e alle allergie ..Unica pecca per la quale non ho dato 5 stelle è la velocità nello sparecchiare...I miei amici avevano finito di cenare ,mentre io ancora stavo finendo il mio purè di fave con cicoria e mi sono ritrovata con il tavolo sgombero anche del cestino del pane che stavo ancora mangiando e che ho dovuto richiedere..."

"Il fatto che il ristorante si trovi in un paese meraviglioso come Corigliano d Otranto è già un buon punto di partenza. Situato di fronte al Castello de' Monti ,sorto nel periodo militare e feudale del cinquecento, fa' si che ogni attimo, compreso quello dedicato al cibo, sia unico e indimenticabile in quanto si vive un atmosfera quasi fiabesca. Veniamo al ristorante: Il menù è a base di pesce e devo dire che , in quanto a sapori e profumi, sembrava di stare vicino al mare. Ho apprezzato moltissimo le linguine con le vongole, secondo il mio parere le migliori mai mangiate! Non da meno le cozze e il primo con frutti di mare ...che dire ? Delizia per il palato. Il pesce grigliato , come si può vedere nella foto, merita davvero un elogio !!! La consiglio, come tutto ovviamente. Abbiamo chiuso la cena con un sorbetto al limone fresco ,che ovviamente era diversissimo da quello confezionato in busta. Risultato? Eccezionale!!! Ultima nota positiva : è un ristorante in cui ci si rilassa , dove si comunica con i commensali senza dover urlare , dove la parola d ordine è tranquillità, relax e ...godiamoci l insieme!!! Senza spendere una fortuna, perché i prezzi sono davvero accessibili per ogni tasca! See you son!"
