Very friendly pub, Sunday lunch was very nice great landlord.

Good old tradition pub. Tasty Sunday lunches very reasonably cost £11.

Just visited for the first time a warm welcome tried their excellent new menu 2 courses for 2 people £15 can’t go wrong all freshly cooked drinks very reasonable

Never a disappointment amazing food great service staff are welcoming will defiantly recommend visiting for food had a Sunday dinner before and it was delicious will be coming again

My dad, my 9-year-old daughter, and I were searching for a place to eat in the area while attending a nearby dance competition. The staff went above and beyond to accommodate us, even preparing our food before the official start of service because we were on a tight schedule. We enjoyed delicious starters and mains, all at a very reasonable price. My daughter ordered an adult-sized pizza that was so large she could only finish two slices, so the staff kindly boxed up the rest for her to take home. The chef and the woman working behind the bar were friendly and engaging. The restaurant was clean and inviting. We will definitely be returning to this place next year when we are in the area agai...

I recently celebrated my father-in-law's birthday with a family Sunday lunch at this restaurant. Unfortunately, I would not recommend it to others. The starters took a long time to arrive and were lackluster. My pate seemed like it came from the local grocery store, and the salad garnish was simply a piece of iceberg lettuce with a cherry tomato and cucumber slice, without any dressing. My brother-in-law's salad garnish was even worse, as it was just the core of an iceberg lettuce. The roast options were beef or gammon, but they came out cold with a small portion of mashed potatoes, reheated jacket potatoes, tough Yorkshire puddings, and a small serving of beef. We visited the Hare Hounds for the 2 for 15 deal and this included the 2 courses for 2 people. I opted for the Bruschetta for a starter and Steak pie for a main and it was OK, for me this deal does not benefit me as i feel as if i could make this at home but i understand the reasoning behind it. People who can not afford to eat out with their families would find this to be a treat. I felt like the Bruchetta could have been an actual Bruchetta at a more cost effective make and the Pie could have been a large home made pie cut in to pieces again making it what i would consider to be more cost effective but i am just a customer who has no experience of running a pub so this is just a theory of...
