"This is a good place to dine on a day out en route to Portsmouth. Excellent booking service, easy parking, a friendly welcome on arrival, prompt and attentive service, relaxed atmosphere and good food . One unfortunate hiccup with the dessert. There was an unwanted piece of wrapping paper in the Ice Cream Sundae. The waitress reported it to the kitchen and we were not charged for the desserts. Nevertheless, it is very likely that we will go there again."

The staff was courteous and friendly, providing excellent customer service. The value for money is great, and the outdoor garden is a lovely spot for hot days. It's also nice to have a salad before dining.

steak was well done, not medium 2 of sweet mais had not even on the grill they were stone cold plugged, service could be found better to hunt the waiter down for drinks, could be checked more regularly. before this meal, all our meal times here were error-free.

The steak was overcooked; it was well done instead of medium. Two of the sweet corn pieces hadn’t even been on the grill and were served cold. The service could have been improved as we found ourselves trying to track down the waitress for drinks and she could have checked on us more often. Prior to this meal, all our experiences here had been flawless.
