the workers of the windmill are very welcome during each visit. the layout of the tabs is excellent so they do not feel bundled. the price-performance ratio on the evening offers is fabulous and the salad bar option included. great value, great service.

one ordered rare steak, it came less rare than liked. not nonsense. the waitress took her away and another steak was prepared. she asked to stand while he broke into the replacement to make sure it was his joy. that was it. but I call that service. well done.

manager was welcoming and we were quickly shown on our table. waitress was professional, she had to remember only the drinks and she apologized for the delay. eating was generous and very well tasted. well done and thanks to the cook, was better than our previous visit. Speisekarte ansehen

The food was much better than when last there. I was disappointed to find that I could not have my beefburger the way I wanted it. ie. Medium- well done. They are only done one way . The burgers were quite soft and 'under done '. They should be prepared the way the customer wants them!

The service was great, however not the same could be said for the food which was at best absolutely awful. Salad bar just not the same a bygone days. Breaded mushrooms were mainly just fried bread with very little mushrooms and lots of hot nasty liquid inside. My burger was cremated but had obviously been left sitting on the side for ages as it was also stone cold. My husbands cod was just a plate of tough boney overcooked something that passed itself off as cod. Honestly one of the worst meals we’ve had out since lockdown lifted. Shame because it used to be ok and the service was lovely. We will not be returning.
