Miserable staff £4.50 for half a child’s sandwich ate out scones before the coffee arrived over priced cafe won’t be back.

Avoid Terrible Farm Shop at all costs. I am baffled by the positive reviews it has received. This shop lacks fresh produce, meat, and eggs, which is unacceptable for a farm shop. Save yourself the disappointment and don't bother visiting if you're looking to purchase food.

During our trip to Scotland, we stumbled upon a charming converted barn and decided to pop in for a bite to eat. Attached to the cafe was a shop where we found a perfect gift for our friends. Two friendly ladies welcomed us and provided quick service. We both savored a cup of tea and a tasty homemade fruit scone with butter and jam, priced just over £5 each. We felt it was a good value for the quality of food and service we received.

When we first walked in, we had to wait to be seated despite there being empty tables available. It took a while for someone to acknowledge us, and when we were finally seated, the hostess appeared unhappy. As we looked over the menu, we couldn't help but notice that all the staff seemed unhappy as well. When I requested a small change to my order, I was told abruptly that it was not possible. Despite feeling tempted to leave, we decided to stay. The food arrived and I must admit, it was delicious. However, overall, the atmosphere of the restaurant was quite gloomy.
