Haz - Speisekarte

Haz Bishopsgate is close to our office and we are frequent visitors. The staff are friendly and efficient, the food always of a consistently high standard, and the atmosphere vibrant.

Been coming here for years but take issue with the beers now being under filled on purpose to try and save money. Pathetic behaviour. Don’t believe me? Order yourself a pint and see for yourself

Stay well away from this place. Tourist trap to the max and the food isn’t even nice. Complete rip off, have no idea how they have managed to franchise this place across central but don’t even bother going in. Speisekarte ansehen

We've been to other Haz restaurants in the Liverpool St area and only had good things to say so we had v high expectations of this location. However: The staff were slow and disinterested It took ages before they took our order and even longer for our main course to arrive The starter was lukewarm and had to be sent back After the main our table was cleared and we were studiously ignored for an hour no dessert menu, nothing Eventually we flagged down a member of the staff to request the bill. We will NOT be going back

Went for a mid-week dinner. The place was loud. Ordered starters and main. Drinks came quickly enough. Generally the staff were less than attentive. I had to send back my starters which were cold. We waited for the main course. After 40 mins I asked where it was and it was clear we weee forgotten. But the mere fact my waitress didn’t even notice. Dinner finally came. My food was over salty and microwaved rice. Less than average. It took ages for the plates to be removed. Then we waited. And waited. And waited. After a further 45 mins I asked for the bill. No offer of dessert menus. I have never been ignored at a restaurant. The staff were inexperienced and didn’t care. I would never go back....

Absolutely awful . Do not go.werent shown to table literally pointed and said its there. 7 of us went . Ignored mostly had to ask for a menu. Had to ask to be served. Staff on their phones constantly. Started came out the Turkish sausage and hallomui were indelible Borek may as well have been salt... Mains shish kofta dry and salty. The moussaka and lamb tagine were alright..to top it off you have to buy sides. No Turkish have we ever been to where you have to buy rice separately. Definitely the worst Turkish we have been to and the most expensive. We were never asked re a dessert. So we asked for the bill. 13.5% discretionary service charge. Discretion used we didn't pay it. The restaurant experience was disappointing from the start. We were not greeted or shown to our table in a friendly manner. The waiter simply pointed to our table from across the room and tossed festive menus at us. When we requested the a la carte menu, we were given only one menu for three of us. The waiter never returned to take our drinks order, so we had to ask the waitress when she came to take our food order. The food was expensive and did not include rice, which was disappointing. The lamb tagine was mostly bone with little meat, and the chicken shish kebab was small. All portions were tiny and underwhelming. Four of us went to this restaurant for lunch on Friday, December 15th at around 2pm. The bar was empty, which should have been a red flag, but we decided to stay. After climbing three flights of stairs, we finally entered the restaurant and found a large table of people having what seemed to be a Christmas party. Despite being the only ones in the restaurant, we were not greeted by any staff. After 10 minutes of waiting, I had to go to the kitchen area to ask for service. Eventually, we were given menus and ordered drinks. We waited another 30 minutes before we could finally place our food order, opting for the £45 three-course Christmas menu. I had made a reservation for a party of 10 several weeks in advance. The restaurant called to confirm our booking an hour before our arrival. However, when we got there, they did not have a table ready for us. The downstairs team claimed they had given our table to someone else, even though we had arrived early. The upstairs team said they had no record of our reservation at all. When we were finally seated, we did not feel very welcomed. We were only given a party menu and had to ask for the main menu as we did not want a full three-course meal.
