"Well first of all arriving to the hotel it looks like an average house with a lots of car park, apart from the sign on the side of the road that says Heywood Spa nothing special for a 4.6 star hotel.The stuff is absolutely amazing, feels like a family run “posh wannabe” hotel.We had the executive room (210), the double bed had 2 single mattress, ripped wallpapers, a really noisy old school A/C and a little TV like a monitor in the middle, shower has a really really poor water pressure, you have to be straight under it, the walls are very thin you can hear people sneezing 4 rooms next to you and hear people checking in the reception even though it’s pretty far away. The balcony had 2 metal chairs without pillows and a tiny table. The spa is another downside of the hotel as the sauna not working 5 years ago as seeing now the reviews, still not working, the hot tub has loads of chemicals in it it’s literally making a bubble bath into the pool after 10 minutes. Pool is very cold and pretty small as well as the hot tub. Once you finished you have to walk through the restaurant unless you’d like to use the changing room what is literally just a room with a lightbulb and chair, no heating or anything obviously.Restaurant and the bar looks nice but a Vodka/Coke ended up £8 and a Corona lager £5.50. The breakfast is pretty good if it’s included the £200 a night price but I definitely wouldn’t pay for it separately as you have many options in Tenby. The lunch is looking good but way over seasoned to make it look nice and it’s really not worth £25. Pasta one side of the plate was taste like English mustard and nothing else. The tip is 10% what is fair but I’d personally pay double tip for the service and half price for the food. You have many Italian restaurants for half a price with awesome food on the beach.This hotel is definitely not 4.6 star, maybe 3 because of the little Spa but way overpriced and overrated.I’m not being picky, but for £200 a night in one of Tenby’s most expensive 4.6 star Hotel people have expectations."

our first time in the hotel and wow we had a great time staff are friendly and courteous our room was nice very clean and comfortable eating was stunning definitiw going back already booked for later in the year.

Great hotel. Rooms good size and very comfortable, on site restaurant excellent. Staff pleasant. Good breakfast with good choice of options. If we had one criticism it's the bathroom shower, it needs a bit more power.

The use of the pool/jacuzzi outside hot tub for 2 hours with afternoon tea afterwards was great value for £35 per person, especially as a towel, robe slippers were included. Afternoon tea was sandwiches, cake scones, jam cream and was served in a stylish, tasteful, relaxed area. The service was unobtrusive, gentle and attentive. Highly recommended!

came home today after a 2 nights. everything was fantastic from the beautiful room and the very helpful staff. eating in the brasserie was absolutely delicious and the additional note of happy birthday on my man dessert teller was a great idea. the whole trip was brilliant and we cannot thank them all enough. we will return definately. good luck of the waitress who expects a baby and many thanks for their ease to xx

we loved it so much we decided to stay an extra night. 5 not high enough. the staff was absolutely excellent, friendly and friendly, they could not do enough for us. the evening meal were of an excellent standard, I would recommend the duck very much. gareth, sophie and lee, (just to mention a few) they have made our stay and what a nice note that the owner comes to meet his guests to the breakfast. fantastic. thank you all and see you again soon! xx

Every member of the team were so friendly and helpful especially Mandy and the restaurant manager whose name I didn't get.The spa ladies were very accomodating and the treatments were first class.The restaurant team serve tasty generous dishes in a recently decorated top notch restaurant.We were a group of 6 ladies but there were couples and families with children and we were all looked after.The hotel is a 20 min walk to town and there are plenty of taxis for the return trip.
