our takeaway driver never had any change on him, we had to pass him food back and tell him we dont want it if you dont have our change..... he soon jumped in car and went to shop to get some change.. should come prepared!! food was good though

Mongolian style chicken/beef are amazing!! One of the nicest Chinese dishes I’ve ever had. Food just seems fresh and not greasy in the slightest, light on the stomach and delivery is usually around the time they say. Gone better recently than earlier this year.

We came over to Bolton form York as we were visiting relatives. We decided to have a chines for our supper and I can honestly say it was the best we have had in ages. We had chicken Satay, chicken in batter in sweet and Sour sauce and a beef curry. We will be back again. Thank you.

Been here a few times now and the food and service are outstanding. Food is tasty and always served hot if they say it’s will be ready in 20 minutes it’s ready when you arrive no hanging around especially good in these Covid19 times. My favourite dish has to be the Mongolian Chicken such a tasty dish.

Never really cared for Chinese food but on receiving s takeaway leaflet the choice looked amazing. We opted for Lucky Box A with additional mushrooms. It came to £17. Unfortunately they don't take card payments and I was about 50pence short in my cash. The lovely lady let me off what I was short of which was very kind. We waited about 6 minutes only. Well what a feast we had plus free prawn crackers. There was so much left that we had more than enough for tea the next day. Will definitely go again

Never tried Hong Hu before but after reading loads of positive comments on Facebook we thought we’d give it a try. We ordered one of their box specials, when it arrived it just didn’t look right. Everything was freezing, not too much of a problem until we tasted the food. The food was stale and tasted days old, it was absolutely disgusting. It was that bad that the vast majority went straight in the bin as we were worried it was make us sick. We’ve never had to throw a takeaway in the bin before and it’s really annoying after you’ve handed hard earned money over. You live and learn but never again.

I should have realised it was a bad idea to order a take away when the lady who answered the phone was rude and abrupt.We usually ordera few appitisers well that was another bad thing because most of them were unavailable which I thought was bad for a Saturday night. When the food arrived it was in boxes which meant most of them were lukewarm.The only things that was hot was 2 chicken dishes that were in plastic continers.We ended up throwing quite alot of food away because we didn't what to chance being ill the next day.Also one dish was missing.Don't think we will be ordering from here again.Very disappionted.

Well, we have used Hong Hu for some years, the food is always good, but the service has been going down hill. We wouldn’t mind if we were told it would take an hour for the food to reach us, as we could decide if we wanted to wait or not, sadly we are often promised a delivery that then takes twice as long to arrive. Today, after waiting over 60 mins, I called to check where the order was, firstly I was told 10-15 more minutes as its still cooking, when I said ok, cancel the order, I was told the delivery was already out, delayed as the driver was late? having positive experiences with Hong Hu .my two friends and I ,ordered for delivery from the new menu. I ordered from the Ok Dishes section. Which states deep fried in batter as the heading and lists a choice of beef, chicken , prawn ,and pork .so I ordered pork and some chips to go with it we quoted the numbers on the menu. My friends chose crispy beef with egg fried rice and chow mien with three different meats in it .
