If you fancy spending some money go here. We love this shop can't afford thousands but hundreds work here lol

Didn’t have look at the ground the first or second floor we just went in the cafeteria department for the view over the harbour the food what we have was very nice so yes we will tell anyone who ask about the restaurant part

We hadn't realised Hoopers had such a pleasant cafe inside. Seating area was bright and very pleasant. We had a delicious soup and cake which were very good and reasonable value. Coffee was also very good. I would recommend a visit Speisekarte ansehen

On a cold wet day, this was the perfect spot for a meal with fabulous views over the wet and windy harbour. The service was good and the food was excellent and reasonably priced. The seating was comfortable and the tables well spaced. Recommended.

It's like going back 25 years to how department stores were and should be. Immaculate, knowledgeable and helpful staff who offer the customer exceptional service, sadly lacking today. The cafe with great views is a bonus offering well priced, tasty luncheons. A veritable oasis in Torquay.

My local department store, family feel, friendly staff, lovely items, incredible sales of high end fashion. The Loyalty card is worth having. The restaurant is situated on the top floor, lovely views of the harbour, good selection of food, (highly recommend the leek and potato soup) food lovely, and well presented, Frequent visitor. We visited Hoopers, Torquay today. Lovely, friendly cafe. Good menu and excellent service. Today we enjoyed freshly cooked fish and chips. Earlier in the week just had a cuppa now and again…. My favourite cake was Plum and Cherry slice. Yummy. Well done ladies, and thank you for you kind hospitality. We’ll visit again later in the year

Quality traditional department store. Possibly the last one in Torbay. A high end store over three floors, with lift. Top name brands throughout with professional and courteous staff, all very well presented. It has an excellent cafe/restaurant on the top floor, which can also be accessed at this level from the street behind. This was the highlight of our visit, where we enjoyed high quality meals, whilst enjoying spectacular views over Torquay Harbour. The store itself is nice, for a small department store it has a good selection of items. I would have given a higher rating if it were not for the staff- some of them are truly awful! Every time I go into this store there are usually way too many sales assistants on the ground floor, just standing around on the floor and chatting, yet none are stood at a till point taking up unnecessary time finding someone to take my payment. Also beware if you carry items between floors which are not in a basket- last time I was there I took an item of clothing that I wanted to buy up to the top floor to look at other items, the plan being to pay for all items together- I was carrying it openly for all to...
