This is one of the best coffee TO GO restaurants in Rome! They have one secret: when you ask for coffee to go, they first refuse, after which you have to ask a second time. This is such a wonderful restaurant. Our hotel concierge recommended it to us, and we were so happy to eat here. We LOVED everything we ate: artichoke ravioli, gnocchi, cacio e pepe, and the suckling pig. Wines were delicious too. And everything is very reasonably priced. Great, friendly service (Thank you Roberto) and cool atmosphere. Will absolutely come here again when we're in Rome. Yum yum

We asked our hotel for a traditional Italian restaurant where locals eat and suggested Hostsria Costanza. Of course it was all tourists inside. The rustic interior was nice but we were disappointed with the service and food. Our waiter was less than friendly and didn’t seem interested in giving us suggestions and hardly spoke. Neither of us finished our entrees and we were charged for bread that we never ordered or received. Would not go back. Service: Dine in

My wife and I were overall disappointed with the experience. While the architecture was interesting and the food was decent, it was not our best meal in Rome despite being our most expensive. The service was lacking. We felt neglected, even by Italian waiter standards (who typically leave you alone much more than American waiters). Despite the restaurant not being busy, we ended up having to stand up and go find our waiter to get our check and pay after the other parties that were seated around the same time as us had long ago received their checks and left.
