If you come for that, you will certainly be satisfied and useless to take an entry because you may no longer have room for the main dish. concerning the rest we did not make the choice to try other dishes but seeing the quality of the child menu (sauce too cooked and fries frozen as well as carrots without seasoning ) I emit reservations. very often the restaurateurs forget this side but we are also looking for the best for our children. My children also know how to appreciate the good things. I'm tired of having to pay for the menus of this quality. for desserts, it is basic nothing exceptional at this level. A message intended for the hotel master: a little more warmth and conviviality would be appreciated and would make the meal even more enjoyable especially when caught on this nice terrace"

we ate in august 2021 at etienne. I had long heard of natives and decided to go. superb cassoulet, the best I've ever eaten and I've been in these regions for over 20 years.

very friendly exterior frame, very welcoming staff. Imperial cassoulet deserves his name. Everyone's been having fun. the wine served of very high quality, chardonnay and minervois of very good outfit, perfect to accompany this delicious meal.

unpredictable restaurant with friendly service and an excellent cassoulet. we both enjoyed a wonderful lunch. to pudding we had ile flottante, which was also very good. we found that the many French eat so a good sign. if they want to eat...here they should be reserved because it is very popular!

Hello we stopped in this restaurant to taste a cassoulet - the outdoor setting is super nice and shady - the waitress are very smiling and friendly - and if we were talking a little bit of the cassoulet at will! Needless to take an entrance because sincerely you would no longer have room for him - excellent and well-stocked, we were not disappointed on the contrary and I recommend you to go there.very good at hostellerie etienne

very good reception from smiling waitresses, friendly and available. the place is beautiful, the terrace is pleasant in the summer. The dishes are rich, the gourmet salad represents the region, foie gras, dried magret and gizzards, the cassoulet is authentic, generous and delicious, the beef pieces in sauce are also copied. for the children’s menu, it was fries and a freshly chopped steak. homemade desserts, but I have a doubt about the floating island. "Interestingly, no current reviews so hopefully this from Sept 2019 will contain. Phoneed to book a lunchtime and arrived at 12.20 when the place was without customers, although they introduced us, my wife and I stayed until we chose our own table. The location is near the canal du Midi with a street and moored boats in between, but the restaurant looks drab and uncarried for and could do with a coat of color and a little loving care. The young waitress was acceptable and agreed that we could sit exactly where we had chosen a 2 seat table if we wanted a clean tablecloth, we would have to sit somewhere else! I waited for a long time for a menu and my wife and I thought to leave a handful of kilometers for another restaurant, but in due course we ordered our 23 euros (variated choice of dish) three course meal with wine at extra cost. The quality of food was good, but not necessarily a good value compared to some other restaurants. The first course was a pleasant one, but we had to ask and wait for bread and a jug of water. After a long wait our main course came to fish that was very pleasant, but not the type of fish we ordered, although acceptable. I speak fluently French, so there was no reason for misunderstandings and the conversations with the waitress in French were friendly. Finally, at the end of two hours after considerable waiting, we finished our dessert course, but gave up an application for coffee, although, as we paid at the barthek, the waitress asked if we wanted to go back to the table and sit on a drink. Perhaps the slowdown was aware, as we were not French some much later arrivals were served much faster and most left the restaurant until the time we made it. As reported by others, the owner's attitude was not friendly to two different sets of passing cyclists who were asked for a drink and a snack and were twisted away firmly. Likewise, the male owner did not try a small conversation while we paid him. The canal location of the restaurant has good potential, but today's visit will be our only until a more nurturing owner takes over."
