"Formule à 17€ (entrée, plat, dessert) le midi en semaine, sauf le week-end et jours fériés.Pour ma part, je m'y suis rendu un samedi midi, j'ai choisi le menu à 25,50€ (entrée, plat, dessert, avec un large choix): c'est le moins onéreux, mais je me suis régalé, les plats sont gastronomiques mais copieux et savoureux.Attention: penser à réserver, car nombre de places limitées; le service est un peu long également."

"We arrived in the hope the restaurant would be open for breakfast as it was pouring with rain and our normal Saturday morning venue only has outside seating We were warmly greeted but advised breakfast was usually only for the chamber d'hote guests however we...were asked to wait whilst the waitress checked with the chef and we were thrilled to learn they would accommodate us anyway. We were served excellent coffees, freshly chilled orange juice, crispy warm croissants, toasted brioche and toasted pain de campagne with butter and a choice of confiture all for euros per head. Excellent service, good freshly cooked food and a warm welcome ......fabulous value for money"

"This was our first visit to Le Brantalou. We knew to expect a busy holiday environment, even allowing for COVID restrictions, but were not as prepared as we thought for the experience that ensued! The staff were friendly enough and the Chef passed by our table to welcome us before we ordered, which was a nice touch. There were hoards of holiday-makers bustling through the restaurant and around the pool and we happened to choose an evening when the Kids’ Club was in full flow (with disco and lights! . We were sitting adjacent to the pool which would have been fine on any other evening. There was also a sizeable group of people drinking large quantities of red wine and clearly relishing the experience! The food was OK but rather expensive and didn’t live up to our expectations. Nothing special. Can’t say much more than that. We would probably give the restaurant another try, out of season, but our evening was less than relaxing, rather raucous and we were quite exhausted by the time we returned home! We were left feeling a little disappointed."

"We visited this place some time back and we really did not enjoy our food. So we dodged it for a long time after. However, friends started telling us that it was not too bad and we should give it another go, so we did....Four of us went for dinner and we ordered just mains. Three steaks and a fish dish. The steaks were okay, not exceptional but okay. My friend who ordered the fish dish wasn’t over impressed, but again it wasn’t unpleasant. We ordered a bottle of blanquette with our meal and noticed it was the low end bottle from Delmas (a very good producer in Antugnac), however it was pleasant. We decided we didn’t want desserts, but did have some coffee. The coffee was good. When our bill arrived we noticed the cost of the blanquette was This is actually the most expensive bottle of blanquette in any restaurant in the area blanquette is locally produced and not at all expensive. I would have expected to pay a maximum of for this particular bottle. This left a bitter taste in our mouths. We paid the bill and have decided that as the food was not so special and the blanquette was very expensive we will not go back to this place again. I don’t like walking away from a place feeling as if I’ve been ripped off and that’s how this place made us feel."
