Il Piccolino - Speisekarte

What a find! I can not fault this restaurant - delicious food and extremely friendly and efficient service. I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Lille. The best pizza ever!

Stopped by last minute and were lucky to get the last table. So if you want to be sure of one.... book!Antipasta and pizza were what we ordered and both were delicious. Lots of good ingredients and base products used. One of the best pizzas I have had in a while.

Popped in for a quick lunch during my sightseeing. They choose to have a very limited menu, and it works. They basically live by the motto do just a couple of things really, really well instead of a large menu that might be OK. There's not much seating, but that's forgivable Speisekarte ansehen

When we approaching this restaurant we hesitated as it does not look appealing. However it has been a fantastic experience. The waiter was very friendly, open and very funny. There is a limited menu, but of very good quality. All in all this restaurant at this moment is our favourite restaurant in Lille.

Tucked down a side street away from the centre you need to make an effort to be here, the reward is a very good pizza and unfussy pasta. Service was efficient and the young lady helpful; the room certainly is sparse and furniture basic but if the food is good that is the important thing. Like most of Lille the parking is humungous so use a central car park and its about 8/10 min walk.

We popped in for a quick dinner, but unfortunately this small establishment was already fully booked. Instead, we could have our pizza as takeaway. Even though the wait was fairly long, it was worth every minute. This might very well be the best pizza Siciliana I've ever had. You'll find this restaurant slightly off course, about 15 minutes from the city centre, but it's definitely worth the trip. Speisekarte ansehen

Top quality pizza, very friendly service but limited seating.We had not booked on a Monday night but were able to sit on bar stools watching the chef at work - great theatre which our three year old enjoyed.The pizza was amazing - lovely crispy base and great toppings. Both staff were great - friendly and flexible, especially with out child.You can get takeaway or foodora too, if you don't get a table.

We were two of us and got the table at the window : royal !Welcoming was friendly, it wasn't too crowdy and the young owner (from remote sicilian origin) took time to chat with us especially about the right flour for the pizza pasta (type 0.0) and he showed it to us !The result was on the plate, we each took a "Piccolino" one, it was perfect : pasta, genuine and fresh topping, cooking...A very good address to remember, not many seats (20 ?) it's better to book !

Need to book if you want a seat in this small pizza place. A few pasta dishes also - but no side salads etc. Pizzas very good. However one we had with courgettes and pine nuts had very little courgette, and overwhelming volume pine nuts to the extent little else. Didn't work. In fact not sure how they could have made money on it given the price of pine nuts. A few scattered would have been fine. That said, very friendly, acceptable house wine and overall good value.
