"Firstly i would like to say after our visit last night there was only an issue with one member of staff, the young lady that was responsible for serving us was very very good and its such a pity that the older lady who dealt...with the issue does not know the meaning of hospitality. We were a party of seven and obviously started with a round of starters which were very nice, on arrival of the main courses everything looked good and to be fair, apart from the one issue, tasted very nice. The issue we had was that the chicken dish that was ordered smelt off and indeed was off, Again at this point it was not really an issue as these things do happen. When we asked the, i presume supervisor, over to report the issue she picked up the chicken on the fork and said it smells fine to me and the chicken was bought yesterday, she left the plate there and did not even take it back to the chef to check the dish, all other main courses were very nice might i add. After the bill was presented the chicken dish had been taken off the bill which is not what we wanted, the young lady who dealt with the bill was very charming and polite and apologized for the chicken dish. After leaving our table and indeed a tip as we walked out of the restaurant the supervisor was stood at the bar with the chef and i can only describe her as staring us down and basically giving us filthy looks......again it seems that the hospitality training had fallen short with this older lady and maybe she would do well by learning from the youngsters that you employ on how to treat their customers. A bad experience that could have been handled a lot better from just one member of staff who should probably know better."

We've had several meals here and enjoyed every one. We've dined a deux and with other family members. Lovely staff with a great atmosphere.

Used take away service for first time. Ready at time requested and Pizza quality plus service top notch. Would recommend and will use the Resteraunt again.

As fine dining Gentlemen we chose to send oe our team off at this wonderful setging in Llanwit Major. The food was unbelievable.... the Gnocchi was oit of this world. We as a group fully recoomend this fine dining experience Carlos, Viv and team.

I enjoy pizza, hadn’t had one for a while so was looking forward to this recommended Italian restaurant made pizza. Ordered their “Il Vesuvio” so expected a lot with that name and for the price…and what a disappointment. Most of the [small] pizza was...an empty desert of pizza dough with crust so thick it was inedible. Get your act together IV and give better value for money.

absolutely brilliant, my other half ordering something that was not on the menu for beginners and they were very accompanying it was amazing, then for netzen we had pasta, which was the best I ever had, the nice woman explains what was all when I wasn't many Italians, amazing eating for great prices, excellent service and beautiful atmosphere, will come back in any case, thank them very much

I paid for the lasagne which was a fair size. Unfortunately that was it. It came with no sides at all and after hour later I was feeling hungry. Over priced and under whelmed I found my expiernce to be this time. As...a free tip for you please, please, please find out what was making that squeaking noise around the area by the main door and put a stop to it. I think it was the metal bit under one of the tables.
