"Buongiorno a tutti! Little message to all those who would like to have a review of this emblematic place of St Jean de Maurienne: To resituate the context, from my point of view, we were under construction to lay a stairway. We had a reservation for 19h30 but lack of pot the yard a drag a little what put us in the juice (do not make the stairs is ready to welcome you). All this to say that we arrived with a few minutes late... despite this precipitation, the manager of the Poterne welcomed us with a big smile and even offered us what to shave. For my part, I took a Greek diabolo without ice. Also know that 30 people can snack in this restaurant that pays no mine. Once all the guests gathered together, a hot-mouthed tray came to us. The latter had leaflets with chorizo, pesto, a delicious velvety of cucurbitrate etc... and of course certified homemade !! In short, let's take a look at the topic: food!! I can't tell you the quality of the frog thighs imbibed with its persilted sauce, a real slap that exulted my taste buds. On the tartiflette my colleagues were under the charm. All accompanied by a dauphinois gratin and its salad (no advice will be issued on these green leaves). Unfortunately I can't talk about all the good things consumed during this meal but a big big up at the spec of the tray. Without failing to say that alcohol was flowing. On the end of the meal a nice surprise in view of the copier part of pie pie. A small flat still on the effectiveness of the star cup that contains the ice ball. It was not easy to scrape ice juice. But it’s just a detail! To conclude through all these lines, I spent a good time so I strongly recommend this place. Warmly, a satisfied customer"

"On ne pense pas en poussant la modeste porte du restaurant de cet hôtel dans le centre de St Jean de Maurienne, que nous allons régaler nos papilles comme jamais ! Déjà merci pour l'accueil chaleureux de chaque membre du personnel et pour votre sourire. Un décor sobre, sans chichi qui ne laisse pas soupçonner l'avalanche de saveurs qui devra suivre. Des plats originaux, d'une finesse et d'une saveur dignes des plus grands restaurants gastronomiques. Et en plus les prix sont tout à fait abordables, nous avons donc passé une excellente soirée. Nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir car ce restaurant mérite vraiment que l'on vienne s'y régaler et n'a vraiment rien à envier à certains gastro prétentieux et hors de prix comme il en existe beaucoup. Encore un grand merci et mille bravo."

"Avec le temps ce restaurant ne perd pas ses qualités : on y mange très bien, l'acceuil est sympathique, le service est attentionné, toujours souriant et professionnel. C'est une valeur sûre, personne ne peut être déçu. J'ai pratiqué le déjeuner (1 fois) et plus souvent le dîner, j'ai toujours été très bien reçu. C'est bien quand manger rime avec plaisir !"

"Bonjour ;je m'étais promis de ne pas y retourner et j'ai été invité par des amis auxquels j'avais fait part de mon mécontentement ; 2 week ends de suite .Le 1er samedi soir ; la dame brune frisée devrait CHANGER DE METIER ou se former pour apprendre la politesse et à sourire ,vraiment arrogante et pas du tout accueillante . rebelote le 2ème samedi ;aucun effort de sa part n'a été fait ,tout juste si elle nous a pas envoyé bouler au moment de régler ;pas un sourire rien ,il faut qu'elle change de profession.La 1ère fois; le cuistot devrait revoir ce qu'est une salade caesar (noyée sous une sauce industrielle ) la 2ème fois escalope milanaise infâme linguinis fades je n'ai pas retrouvé le moindre goût de basilic ,mon amie à pris des lasagnes qui étaient tout aussi fades .Bonne note au jeune serveur sympathique ,souriant et qui nous a bien renseigné ;ainsi que la jeune fille blonde avec des lunettes ."

"Promising start with an excellent one man show with bongos and eclectic mix of musicWe were told to sit but not where then promptly forgotten for 15 minutesUpon the return of Madame we gave our order but any explanation of food was reluctantThe wine and water came quickly (different wait ress who didn't seem to make special service for locals ) but after 1 hour and upon asking for more water our mains miraculously came luke warm obviously having stood for some timeInitially they were probably delicious but the dessert was obviously one they were keen to get rid of - dry and sickly creme caramel"
