"Food was amazing; Sunday roasts were huge. Unfortunately it seemed the regulars were visited and spoken too, but we were forgotten. When I booked and paid the deposit, I said we’re booking as we’re new to the area and it’s for my birthday. We were put in a room up some steps which was lovely, but after waiting a while, we had to get someone to take our order. Our starters took a long time to come, but the main…we didn’t get till gone 3.30, when our booking was at 1.30. We had a 4 year old with us that was starting to have a strop because he was so hungry. No one ever came to apologise, or update us nothing. My sister in law asked where our food was, and they said it was coming. 15 minutes later, nothing. It was warm today (finally), so I think there were a lot of walk ins but people who booked weren’t prioritised. The whole reason I booked here was so we could have a meal, then spend the afternoon in the beer garden, having drinks, so my nephew could play. Even his dessert we had to chase as no one ever came to our table. A huge family meal which I felt responsible for, as I booked, and the staff completely let it down. Really upset and disappointed. Felt very unwelcome."

"I had an amazing dining experience at this restaurant. Our group, consisting of 15 people, enjoyed a delicious meal. I have dietary restrictions, so I called in advance and the chef prepared a meal tailored to my needs. The presentation of the food was excellent and everyone in our group agreed that the dishes were very tasty. The staff were attentive and the atmosphere was pleasant. The restaurant also offers disabled access and has a disabled toilet. Parking is available in their car park. I would highly recommend this restaurant to my family and friends. Overall, I would rate the food a 5 out of 5."

"After getting it being recommended to us, we visited the Biggles Lounge as part of the continuing Curry Tour. We visited on ‘Banquet Night’ purely by accident, but decided to take advantage of the ‘deal’. The mandatory Onion Bhajis were to be honest, disgusting. They were literally served on a pool of oil. What they lacked in taste, was certainly made up in greasiness. I managed to eat one and left the other. Not a good start. Main courses were OK – nothing outstanding, nothing special and nothing to return for. The highlight of the evening was the comedy cheese naan! It was absolutely hilarious and still makes us laugh. It was a normal naan with a bit of grated cheese on top! Possibly the worst, if not the funniest naan we have experience on tour. Despite the recommendation to us, we cannot recommend the Biggles Lounge. We fail to understand how others have found the Biggles Lounge to be apparently so good... ...it struggled to be average at the very best in our opinion. However, if you want a good laugh, order one of their cheese naans! So, so funny!"

"Decided to have a family meal out on Pecoro's first Sunday opening. We had a table for 6 and chose the 3 course £15 meal option which included a drink; We started with an Antipasti consisting of Garlic Bread, 3 types of cheese, Salami, Brushetta crisps; 1 with tomatoes and 1 with Pate. Main course was Tagliatelle with either bolognese, pesto or vegetarian options. Choice of dessert was chocolate almond cake, cheesecake plus ice cream or cream. Service and food was great; nice family atmosphere, friendly staff a breath of fresh air for dining out in Sandy; highly recommend!"

"Sadly despite a nice Sunday roast dinner the service and attitude of staff meant this was not a happy experience. Disappointing pudding and on giving feedback to a staff she said it was nothing to do with her as a kitchen issue. We waited ages for our pudding order to be taken but we 're happy to sit and chat as we could see they were busy. We ordered tea/coffee after and then half way through our were asked to move to the bar as another group were booked on our table. We were practically ordered off so moved to the bar that was heaving with nowhere to sit. Staff did find us chairs by which time we had finished our tea coffee quickly. When we complained the staff who had been previously rude to us she said abruptly you have an hour and a half The manager was aware of this as we paid to leave we complained again and he never offered to at least take teas/coffees off our bill. I wrote and complained and he replied saying we could have a complimentary dinner acknowledging what had happened saying he saw it all but thought he would see how things played out . Because of this I did not do my review and held off. However after four messages and an email asking to rebook I have had no response. Really didn 't make us feel very valued. Will not be returning."
